China's core interest Taiwan is now also linked to the US core interest because the US technological ecosystem cannot afford to lose TSMC.

Some of our MAGA friends always proclaim that the US has managed to move the entire supply chain of the TSMC to the US, but I don't buy it.

Since without the rare earths refined by China, both TSMC and ASML will also become useless.

Also, China is living room needs to be far larger than just focusing on its core interests.

Now China needs to give Iran a second chance to bring its back into China's pivot for the Middle East.
