This is a defence forum and users here are far more knowledgeable about defence than common people. Everybody was sceptical about a defence doctrine based on BM only, No Air Force, no nukes. Everybody with a common sense said these things. Alas, the IRI government, the ayatollah and the IRGC failed to recognise this. No, it’s pure math. Israeli military strategists (following game theory) have already achieved much of their goals, if not all. So, they wish to end the hostilities in the hopes of Iran doing the same. Which is highly unlikely, given that Iran is not a proxy like Hamas or Hezbollah.

Highly unlikely doesn't = improbable. Like I said, Israel will be looking to wrap this up in the next few days - doesn't mean it will achieve that deadline.

Iran needs to be given a serious diplomatic off-ramp by the US if the US wants to prevent setting the Middle East ablaze. This will not stop with any dreamed up "regime change" in Iran. Remember what happened with the power vacuums in Afg-Irq-Syria?

When will they learn - these are complex regions with complex power plays beneath the surface. A weakened Shia crescent will be a breeding ground for ISIS.

They didn't have the intent. They had all the tools needed to build the bomb but they never had the intent. Similarly they didn't have the intent for an AF, AD, Navy etc.
