The alternate reason for protests in liberal cities (vs conservative strongholds) is that liberals/progressives actually have a spine when it comes to human rights and moving society towards being more inclusive and equitable.

Why do many protests not last very long? The answer is likely in the structure of American society and the capitalist model that has trapped the middle class and prevents many people from simply not being able to afford protesting for more than a few days.

Not sure I like the idea of hitting US base in Qatar as Qatar is a close and friendly nation to Iran.

It's likely coordinated beforehand as Qatari airspace is clearing. Maybe US is okay with this (idk).
