I believe we should reduce our ties with Russia.
I even mentioned why, in an earlier post, that Putin said two things that completely invalidated all their claims of friendship with Iran:

1. Putin said that many Israelis were Russian-speaking people and Russia considers this in their relations with Israel (i.e. we see Israel as a brotherly nation)
2. Putin said that Russia-Israel relations were based on mutual trust (i.e. we will never do something that is against the interests of Israel)

Also, Russian exported equipment have performed quite poorly against Israel. Russia cannot be trusted. I think at this point, the only country that we can truly trust is North Korea.

These were just excuses of Putin, since Russia benefits the most from Iran-Israel war.

As long as the war continues, oil prices will increase, and weapons supplies intended for Ukraine will be reallocated to Israel, both will alleviate the pressure on Russia very much. There was news that Russia tried to take the war as leverage to bargain with China about the gas pipeline construction, what a bitch.

Russia weapons has proven to be junk again during the war, just forget Su35 and S300 which proven useless against the West. It is wise for your defense minister to choose China as the destination right after the war, since only we have everything your army needs.

As for North Korea, everyone knows they did contribute much to Iran’s ballistic missiles and nuclear projects, but there is nothing more North Korea can offer, at least I don’t believe Kim will sell nukes to Iran.

No mutual defence pact but just exercises and vague friendship.

I don't care what some source thinks is the case. Sergey Lavrov has clearly said it includes defense and security cooperation and I proved it to you by providing an article from Reuters. So, the discussion over this part is finished. We can't continue talking about the same thing forever.

Iran supplied cutting edge gas turbines? I hope this is a joke. Why Iran is not making its own planes with gas turbines? India, in fact, provides engine spare parts to Russia while Iran sells low tech drones for precious gold.

Pakistan humiliated India? I guess you live in your delusions. Indian air defence showed its true metal that day. India did lose some Rafales but they were French jets. Indian defence industry makes top notch equipments. Calling Indians small & weak is absurd. Japanese were much smaller than Indians but they conquered entire South east Asia and were fighting 2 front against China & USA. Indians, unlike northern races, can live in all types of climates and can adapt anywhere due to unique racial features & evolution to suit varied climatic conditions in India.

Why did you purchase French Rafales when you could invest in Tejas instead? Why isn't the backbone of your air force Indian? Why didn't you use Tejas in Operation Sindoor?
I mean no offense to India, but India doesn't really have a golden history of winning wars. And your Operation Sindoor was a defeat for you.

Secondary sanctions are not relevant & major economies like China & India ignore it. It is only when Arabs request to not deal with Iran, India & China listen. USA secondary sanctions are most likely indirect Arab petrodollar sanctions, not just USA's whims.

As for USA controlling Arabs, that time is over with USA energy independence and shale oil boom. Now, the petrodollar is used by Arabs as a tool via USA. The relations are more even & mutually beneficial, not controlled by USA. This is why there was no secondary sanctions on Russia - Arabs refused it.

So, you think Arabs control the Chinese economy more than the US? China's export to Saudi Arabia is about $50 billion dollars. One-tenth of the volume of China's exports to the US. You're downplaying the amount of influence the US has over world economy through the US dollar, financial institutions, banking, UN, etc. If you knew anything about the amount of influence the US has over the world's economy, you would've never made such a ridiculous statement that Arabs have more influence over China than the US.

Unlike Russia, China actually has the industrial capacity to deliver a large number of jet fighters in a short time. They produce over 120 J-20 jet fighters per year.

J-20 production line is impressive but its not available for exports. However, J-10C production line is less busy. We haven't had a major order for JF-17 until now (with Azerbaijan) so we do not know if its existing production line could timely handle Iranian orders alongside those of Azerbaijan and Pakistan. Perhaps, China could manage Iranian orders on its own. But that is assuming Iran ever orders JF-17. Having said this, I have a feeling that the Iranian defence minister is likely to disappoint forum members with not so exuberant shopping list.

Iran should never give up its domestic SAMs, Iran took 20 years of R&D to have B-373, it works better than S-300, the only issue is the production rate

Iran should search for a way to protect the SAMs from drone and ATGM attacks from the inside

The production rate is painfully slow.
We need at least 6-7 units to cover our sky. Ideally, more than 10 units.

I personally don't care of Lebanon anymore, PMU can also be used as a bargaining chip

logically true, but if they removed the centrifuges and all nuclear material before hand, then there is no need for any activity ? You have to assume that they removed a lot of things from that site knowing it was a target the moment the shooting started. ie thinned it out..

But see now they have a problem. They have no place to start enriching again. You need huge expensive facilities to do that and those are the ones that aren't built under a mountain. You won't be able to hide it and you can bet whatever is being built will be hit. The days of waiting years and decades are over. Before the war Iran very likely had enough material to assemble 1-2 bombs but likely not in delivery mode. I don't know if some of the parts that were likely spread out throughout the country got hit by bombing.
