Iranian missiles destroy six institutes at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev
The June 19 attack destroyed a number of major scientific research projects
The Times of Israel reported that Iranian missiles destroyed six research facilities at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Beersheba during the June 19 attack. Israeli officials claimed that the target of the attack was Soroka Hospital, but in fact it was a precise strike on the university's laboratory complex.
The school said in a statement: "Iran's move has destroyed years of hard work in many of our scientific research fields." It is reported that the residential areas of nearly 100 Israeli scientists and faculty members were also attacked.
