Iranians are too much split between secular Persian chauvinists and Shia-Islamic extremists. Both sides sell an ideology of vilifying others. Iranians with a balanced and moderate outlook would do better in reaching out and building alliances with well-wishers of Iran, both Muslim and non-Muslim.

I don't think China has betrayed Iran in anyway. It's just China had voted in UNSC not as expected by Iran when the two countries' interests not aligned. AS a fact, some Iranians had betrayed China by informing US gov about the business deals between Chinese companies Huawei and ZTE and Iran, that's how Huawei's CFO Meng had been detained by US for 3 years and ZTE lost billions of dollars in fine.

It's the thousandth time that it's brought up without a shred of evidence that Iran sold her. And it's a 2018 issue. Our relations started to go down the toilet after 2008.

Can you tell me how it served China's interests to bring the economy of Iran on the verge of collapse? Walk me through it please. Step by step. How did it benefit China to put sanctions on a country that its volume of trade with you had reached $30 billion dollars and was planned to surpass $50 billion dollars?

We didn't choose to go down that path. It was imposed on us by our so-called friends (Russia and China). It's easy to see why Iran has no friends. We're in the Middle East where the entire region and all of our neighbors are controlled by the US either directly or indirectly. It's not really hard to see that, is it? You just need to see how everyone does exactly what the US dictates at the end and nobody dares to challenge the US.

The difference between the US imperialism and these post-communist global powers (China and Russia) is that the US allows you to prosper, even helps you prosper through USAID, sharing knowledge, technology and education with you, but then buys everyone at the highest positions in your system with money to control your country and then empties your pocket through monopolized trade.
However, these post-communist countries hinder your growth and keep you impoverished and isolated to make you depend on them. That's been their style for decades. Look at North Korea, if you don't believe me. Iranians have been smart enough not to turn into North Korea yet, while fighting the most severe sanctions.
