Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

My guess is that Iran was hit harder than we think, and the claims about destroying almost all our launchers are true. I also think theres a big chance we have way less missiles than we claimed. Otherwise it doesn’t make sense to accept ceasefire.

I don't know how long it takes to dig silos for BMs but Iran should work on it asap. Time is ticking for the next Israel attack, could be a few weeks, could be a few months but it's coming

Fun facts:
  • A single THAAD interceptor missile carries a hefty price tag of approximately $12–15 million
  • As for production capacity, current data indicates that the U.S. manufactures about 50–60 interceptor missiles per year, built by Lockheed Martin
  • The Arrow 3 interceptors typically cost $4 million each
  • given export commitments and Israel’s replenishment deal, production likely averages in the tens per year, possibly 20–50 interceptors annually, though official figures haven’t been released
  • The Arrow 2 interceptors typically cost $3 million each
  • Estimated production rate ~50–70 interceptor Arrow 2missiles per year

  • Iran’s urban (city) area is roughly 12 times bigger than Israel’s, by total city area footprint.
  • Iran is roughly 74.5 times larger than Israel in total land area.

Bipartisan ‘Bunker Buster Act’ would arm Israel with B-2 bombers if Iran continues nuclear ambitions

A bipartisan duo of lawmakers in the House introduced a bill that authorizes President Donald Trump to transfer B-2 stealth bombers and “bunker-buster” bombs to Israel if Iran is found to be rebuilding its nuclear supply.

Reps. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ) and Mike Lawler (R-NY) introduced the Bunker Buster Act to the House on Wednesday, about a week and a half after the United States struck Iranian nuclear sites using B-2 bombers and bunker busters. Such a transfer would be unprecedented, as the U.S. has never transferred any of its 19 B-2 bombers to allies thus far.

“Iran has killed scores of Americans, including our service members, and repeatedly attacked our key democratic ally, Israel,” Gottheimer said in a statement. “Israel must be able to defend herself against Iran, and ensure that Iran cannot rebuild its nuclear capabilities.”

International Atomic Energy Agency Chairman Rafael Grossi told CBS over the weekend that Iran could begin enriching uranium within a matter of months, confirming suspicions that Iran moved its supply before the strikes. Meanwhile, the centrifuges at Iran’s main sites will no longer work.

CENTRIFUGES AT IRAN’S FORDOW ‘NO LONGER OPERATIONAL,’ GROSSI SAYS

“It is clear that there has been severe damage, but it’s not total damage. Iran has the capacities there — industrial and technological capacities. So if they so wish, they will be able to start doing this again,” Grossi said.

Bunker busters, also known as GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrators, can travel 200 feet into the ground before exploding. This is key to tackling Iranian nuclear facilities, as many were hidden deep in the earth.

They are using Iran's suspension of IAEA Cooperation as an excuse to restart hostilities.

Well IAEA guy turned out to be a Spy , as of now Iran has kicked out IAEA spies

Unsure what IAEA folks think who they are ?

Never provided any input to help develop Nuclear science in any country but always there to fly on first class ticket , into Iran , enjoy trips in BMW and drive around plus SPY around stealing data and info

As long as they can come and go as they wish, completely unchallenged, they will destroy the silos again. We can’t protect any asset inside our own borders. Thats the major problem.

It seems the Senators drafting the bill were expert at determining , that USA mission to bomb Nuclear facilities failed, in just 7 days. Contradicting own army experts

It would be troublesome to Donald J Trump to know someone drafted some bill , while he clearly stated "Mission Completed!"

Either the Senetor know more or Donald Trump

Yes, SAMs that were heading to Ukraine have been rerouted to Israel
And will be finished quite fast in case of war (ceasefire after 12 days was not because they were winning, but because they were losing the nummeral game and running low on interceptors + logistics problems)

Considering the SAMs failed to intercept , it would matter not much

If you have bucket with holes in it , the water will continue to still leak even if you replace bucket with similar bucket with holes

I do agree Iran had a massive advantage, in a way they still do

Then Iran needs to raise the costs for them. Normally this would entail :

1. Exploding a Nuclear Bomb Test and threatening Nuclear Retaliation if its airspace is infringed and facing a grave conventional threat to its existence. Yes to First Use if Existence threatened.

2. Hitting Dimona or some other catastrophic outcome if they bomb Iran's leaders again.

3. Help by Allies like Pakistan and NK to level the Conventional Playing Field so both sides would be more evenly matched in the air so that Iran doesn't have to resort to WMDs to counter threat to existence.

Iran showed mercy, decided to de-escalate, seems logical move Trump had a proposal

However if Israel keeps tugging the Lion Chariot and bombing Lebanon and Gaza , Iran might have to tame the Israel chariot

But seems like so far things are de-escalating

The pros of silos is that there is not a launch bottleneck in the case of TELs. That means you can launch all of them at once. Therefore you can set up a system that:

1, If any silos were attacked, launch all at once.
2, If there is early warning of an attack underway, launch all at once.

The most important feature of such a system is to take away the launch authority from your weak political leadership.

The enemy has always counted on Iranian leaders to hesitate, thus they're able to keep pushing and pushing until Iran capitulates, the solution is take the launch button away from the leadership and put into an automated system manned by lower echelon of Iranian military.

The Israeli's agree to ceasefire for now because they need a breather as well due to them running out of interceptors, Iran must use this time to prepare. Iran is a somewhat industrialized nation, you should have the capacity to dig up hundreds if not thousands of silos both real and decoys in relative short notice
