Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

First they group the four countries as Axis of Evil, now Axis of Resistance to suit their whim.

They grouped themselves as Axis of Resistance. "BRICS Alliance" or whatever. Muti Polarity, Muti Polarity, Muti Polarity, "New Order"

There was no close alliance between China and Iran but Russia back stabbed Iran and dropped them.

After all this ordeal it will make the Chinese to step further back now then before but Russia is the real bad guy here who dropped the Iranians in the moment of heat.

They lie through their teeth about everything especially losses.

It is a standard tactic employed by just about everyone during such conflicts. Iran has not exactly been forthcoming either, to be honest. How about India and its recent air losses? The same with Israel, I would expect.

Iranian missiles did land in areas that caused damage, surely. But Israel still has a viable air force, and Iran does not. Besides, there were no swarms of drones, or of miniboats attacking shipping, or any closure of oil transit etc., all of which were highly touted at some point or another. Israel came in repeatedly, did what they could do and left, while leaving the ability to do so again at will.

That alone gives a measure of the relative damages inflicted by each side.

IRGC has issued announcements that its 1500 odd drone attacks launched in waves over the fortnight were highly successful. Good percentage broke thru and hit their targets.

Those drones also served other purposes: 1) They distracted the Israeli air force and the air force of their Western backers to spend considerable time battling them; 2) they also forced the Israelis and their Western backers to deplete their air defense interceptors in a quicker pace.

It is like killing 2 birds with 1 stone. The much-vaunted, "impenetrable" Israeli ADS has been exposed in just 12 days. I know people were attacking the #IRGC on how they excused the war, especially the slow pace they were launching those missiles, but since the dust is settling now, it is becoming clear that the Aero-Space Forces of the #IRGC executed this 12-day war professionally.

That being said, Iranian internal security, especially Tehran and its environs, was lacking. The whole internal security of Iran needs overhaul, and they need to return the revolutionary seal similar to the early days of the Iranian revolution. No terrorist agent could survive in such an environment.

Hajizadeh specifically promised 10,000 missiles on day 1, not a few precise strikes. Firing ~42 per day over 12 days is nowhere close.

Destruction for who, them or us?

But they arguably took out more of our critical assets than we did of theirs.

Sure, we degraded them, but then accepted a ceasefire before exploiting that. I can't emphasize this enough.
if you need to fire 10,000 missiles or even 1,000 missiles per day then you have already lost the war!

dimensions are unlimited in a war!

no, your HVT were not destroyed, rather, I'd argue now you can build even better ones!

cynicism and skepticism are too different words. Dont confuse them. (see the video provided below, I tend to agree with this video. Initially, I thought, entity was annihilate IR)

700 people have been arrested via electronic surveillance and good ol police work and charged with espionage and treason.

It’s a big haul no?

Let's not fool ourselves. The same would apply to Pakistan.

During WWII, it wasn't for many months the American public became aware of the losses on Peleliu. Roosevelt was worried he would lose the support of the American people if they saw the hundreds of bloated bodies of dead Marines floating in the water or laying on the beach.

Lets say Israel has 3 B-2s with infinite GBU-57s. Lets say Iran has 30 bases with 4 entrances each totaling in 120 targets. How long is the flight time for each mission? last time they flew 37hours. Sure B-2s are reusable but they need to undergo regular maintenance cycles, which means that they cannot fly bombing sorties back to back without down time. Iran will pummel Israel to ash and powder before the B-2s can take out Iran's missile bases. Israel will need years to build up its Anti ballistic air defense to where it was on June 12. The U.S used up 20% of its THAAD inventory that they had built since before 2008 in just 12 days!
in that case...

war will not ever cease!

@Persian Gulf
How safe are our missile sites from bunker busters?

Assuming that the US does give Israel B-2 bombers and GBU-57s, can our missile bases survive this sort of bombing?
a lot of them are buried much deeper than Fordow, 200m+

and there are dozens of them... there are not enough GBU-57s for Israel to make a serious dent, except for suppression operations until the tunnels can be excavated

Lets say Israel has 3 B-2s with infinite GBU-57s.
infinite GBU-57s is very far from reality

these are huge and very expensive bombs ($20m each!) that only exist in relatively small numbers. up to 50 in total (most estimates say 20-30 prior to the attack on Iran). they used 14 of them just for Fordow and Natanz

Yes, I saw that on Deep Dive Defense. But we don't know how many launchers we have.
The British intelligence, a few years ago, claimed Iran had only 60 launchers, which is a ridiculous claim in my opinion. I think the real number is obviously above 100.
If we have 400 launchers, then we are fine.
60 is pretty funny. we can tell it's much more than that just from the missile base videos we have seen

the analysis is good to show Israel exaggerated hugely but it assumes they showed videos of every strike on a launcher

I agree. It was only for arguments sake.
