Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Yes, obviously. It's a UNSC resolution after all. China is one of the beneficiaries of the current world order. It will not try to undermine it over a lost cause like Iran.
My friend, explain the following to me: if SNAPBACK can be approved at any time, why are they leaving it to do this until next October 2025 (which is when it expires)? Since it could have been approved in 2024, 2023, 2022... and in all scenarios (as you say) Iran would have no defense whatsoever, and it would facilitate "Israel's" war against Iran, why wait until the end of 2025? when everything is so easy to pass and without defense for Iran?

The snapback mechanism is more useful when it hasn't been used yet, as it discourages the IR from taking the risk of going nuclear in fear of UNSC sanctions. And it worked successfully for them. Trump pulled out of the JCPOA in 2018, but Iran was forced to stay in the JCPOA until very recently when they finally destroyed our nuclear facilities.

But don't be fooled. It will be used before it expires.

Spokesperson for the Russian Presidency: Contrary to claims by Western sources seeking to create division, President Putin has not sent any message to Iran regarding 0% enrichment. Peaceful enrichment is Iran’s right and is referenced in the NPT (Non-Proliferation Treaty).

I see it, but I still don't understand. To me, it would be better for them to do this at the beginning. Iran wouldn't even have the fuel to launch missiles, as it would then be subject to a worldwide embargo. To me, they fear something and want to ensure that this doesn't happen, but perhaps it already has.

And how were "nuclear facilities" destroyed if there is no radioactivity or uranium hexafluoride spread?

Iran is an energy super power, one of the five energy super powers in the world. What are you talking about? lol

Your analysis is simply wrong. They modified the behavior of the regime with the JCPOA with less than zero cost for them. First, they blocked over 150 billion dollars of Iranian money, released less than 10 billion dollars after Iran finished all its obligations under the JCPOA, set back Iran's nuclear program by 10 years without a single bullet, and even completely crippled Iran's decision making for 10 years. None of this would've been achieved had they triggered the snapback mechanism in 2018. That's why Trump pulled out of the JCPOA instead of triggering it.

So their cheating, theater and fooling us around, playing good cop (EU) bad cop (US-rael) is coming to an end this october? They burnt through their cards everywhere it seems, all their leverage will be gone.

After that we'll have to make them pay for their savage and honourless behaviour.

Yes — the estimated €75–120 billion loss to the EU economy in 2024 is largely attributed to the Houthi attacks and blockade in the Red Sea, which severely disrupted maritime trade through the Bab el-Mandeb Strait and the Suez Canal.

The problem is not whether the EU is weak or strong. The problem is the Qajar mentality in Iran.
Look at how anti-Iran Germany has become. They supported the Israeli war against Iran both politically and militarily, made anti-Iran statements throughout the last month until now, some of them are unprecedently hostile, and are going to trigger the snapback mechanism. Not even a single letter of protest has been sent to the German embassy in Iran.

The pro-IR idiots love to boast about how the IR is independent and the Pahlavis were US stooges, but history is proving that the Pahlavis were much more competent than these fools. The amount of passivity in this regime is only comparable to the weakest point of the Qajar dynasty.

And yet, the German ambassador has not been summoned.
The sad thing is that Germany is not even an important country in the world stage. It is not a permanent UNSC member, it is not a military power, it is not a nuclear power. It was the reformists with economic ties to Germany that wanted these Nazi fools to be part of the JCPOA.
Pahlavi was so "competent" that the U.S told him to get lost and he said "Yes sir, right away sir". Come on man. who are you kidding?

All of our leverages are gone too. Our civilian nuclear program is definitely gone, except for the Bushehr nuclear reactor. That means hundreds of billions of dollars have been flushed down the toilet.

So, the only remaining question is: will the system move towards the A-bomb finally?
We do not have a civilian nuclear program anymore. It will take years to build one again. The only option left is a nuclear weapons program, which takes much less time to rebuild, and much less money as well, and it is 100 times more useful for us.

Still more competent than the Ayatollah that bends over backwards to some second-class power like Russia.

Russia-Iran relations have become too humiliating for us.

During pahlavi we were less independent than saudi arabia!! it was humiliation, they didnt even want to sell that fleeing-king (he always had his luggage ready) surface to surface missiles.

The Shah of Iran explicitly wanted surface-to-surface missiles (SSMs) during the 1970s as part of his broader ambition to transform Iran into a regional military power.

However, his attempts to acquire them were blocked or limited by Western countries, especially the United States, due to nonproliferation concerns and regional strategic sensitivities.

Russia-Iran relations has always been like how it is, but in the past it was way worse, now at least it's a little bit better! during Shah we could have been used as a west/US-proxy against Russia. Going back to 19th century untill now, our relation have been improved decade by decade.

Now we have different agreements with Russia. One of them for examples forbids to assist a third party against each other in case of war. So Russia is not allowed to lets say support Azerbayjan militarily if there is a war between Iran and Azerbayjan. Iran is not allowed to arm Ukraine.

I know that in LA they are calling themselves just Persians, never Iranians, as part of iranian branch of aipac...

Why do you have to follow their mindset, they are monarchists, usurpers of brand `Persia`... Persia is Iran, not something owned by LA monarchists... `I am Darius, from Achaemenid royality, Persian, my tribe is Persian, Iranian, my seeds are Iranian`... paraphrasing version, but easy to find origin text on internet....

Persia=Iran, no point in dividing or confronting this terms...
Not just LA. My own family are all monarchists. These people only know how to sing "ay Iran" while being happy that Israel kills Iranians. There is nothing "Iranian" about them!

The poster you replied to is a dedicated troll. He sometimes posts articles and edits and writes his own stuff inside them. He should have been prema-banned long time ago

What a load of nonsense. The Shah had the world's 5th largest air force. The IR is a paper tiger, as it was clearly seen during the 12-day war. Even Turkey or Pakistan can defeat the Islamic Republic at this point.

We purchased 80 F-14s from the US instead of those surface-to-surface missiles. The US even declined the sell of F-14s to Israel. It was the US most strategic weapon at the time, like today's F-22. We also were going to receive 160 F-16s by 1980, but the revolution happened.

My friend Where are the scientific evidence that..."set back Iran's nuclear program by 10 years without a single bullet" . Because Israel's narrative says the same thing and we know that Israel has been caught lying several times: 40 beheaded babies, the death of an Iranian general who appeared alive, 500 million in a Lebanese hospital, 99% of missiles shot down, Putin who ordered Iran to stop enriching uranium... etc. Where is the scientific evidence for this narrative?

"None of this would've been achieved had they triggered the snapback mechanism in 2018"

I disagree, because( in 2018) it could not be activated because Iran had not violated anything in it. Only after the US left did Iran increase its enrichment. In 2020, the US tried to activate SNAPBACK but was unable to do so because it was outside of it(JCPO). The question is why Europe did not activate it? If it had been activated (for example, in 2021/2022), Iran would not be able to sell anything to Russia or China, nor buy anything. This, combined with several military attacks, color revolutions(in 2022) would have further weakened Iran. But I will give the answer: I believe they have not activated SNAPBACK yet for fear that Iran will leave the NPT and announce that it has an atomic bomb or even an H-bomb.

Ayatollah is still in his seat despite Israel's best attempt at overthrowing him! The U.S told the Shah to F off and he did!!!
