Iran launches Operation True Promise - massive missile/drone strikes across Israel, Israel allegedly responds with quadcopters

I'm in favor of doing an open air nuke test in the Mediterranean Sea or the Arabian Sea. The idea is to shock the world and cause a financial collapse.

Israel is only a minor part of the problem. The real problem is elsewhere and only a collapse in financial markets will soften up the real enemies of Islam.

Iranian diplomatic sources say the US is trying to convince Iran not to retaliate against Israel for its bombing of the Iranian embassy in Syria earlier this month, Al-Jarida newspaper reported on Monday.
The Israeli strike targeted a building attached to the Iranian embassy in Damascus. It led to the killing of the commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi, his deputy, and five other IRGC officers. A source in the Iranian foreign ministry told the prominent Kuwaiti daily newspaper Al-Jarida that Washington offered Tehran direct negotiations with Tel Aviv to de-escalate the conflict.

According to the source, Washington will guarantee to persuade Tel Aviv to stop its military operations in Syria and Lebanon on the condition that Iran commit not to retaliate against Israel for the Damascus attack.
At the same time, a diplomatic source in Beirut told Al-Jarida that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected an American proposal to pledge to stop attacks in Syria.
The source added that Iranian leader Ali Khamenei is reviewing the US offer but is not expected to accept it if it does not include guarantees for a comprehensive ceasefire in Gaza and to stop all Israeli and US attacks on Iranian targets or those belonging to Iran's allies in the Axis of Resistance.
The source revealed that the Iranians had also previously received a verbal Israeli proposal via a Gulf state. In the proposal, Tel Aviv claimed it was ready to stop operations against Iranian targets in Syria and Lebanon in exchange for Tehran abandoning retaliation for the killing of Zahedi, whose killing was considered the most significant blow to Iran since the assassination of Qassem Soleimani.
According to the source, the Iranian Foreign Ministry responded to the Israeli message by saying that the proposal must also include a ceasefire in Gaza.
However, some IRGC leaders were unhappy with the foreign ministry's response, viewing the Israeli proposal as a trap. The IRGC leaders argued that any negotiations with Israel must take place only after Iran has retaliated.
The source stated that IRGC commanders believe that Israel's targeting of the Iranian consulate is an opportunity that should not be missed to strike a strong blow at Israel, especially since the consular building in Damascus is considered sovereign Iranian territory and was targeted in a clear violation of international law.
The source said that the IRGC leadership believes Washington will not enter a war with Iran even if it retaliates against Israel. They also consider that an adequately harsh strike against Israel will compel it to accept a ceasefire in Gaza and abandon any plans to invade Lebanon or escalate its bombing in Syria.

Emergency and security personnel extinguish a fire at the site of strikes which hit a building annexed to the Iranian embassy in Syria's capital Damascus
The primary purpose of the Iranian consulate in Damascus, which was hit by an Israeli air strike this week, has likely never been the dispensing of visas for those wishing to visit the Islamic Republic. Its real function has seemingly been to act as a command and control centre for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), enabling Tehran to operate its terrorist network throughout the Middle East from the heart of Damascus.
Since Hamas launched its deadly attacks against Israel on October 7, the consulate has served as Tehran’s main regional command centre, helping to supervise the activities of the Iran’s so-called “axis of resistance”, a diverse group of terrorist organisations including Hezbollah, Hamas and Yemen’s Houthi rebels that have vouchsafed their commitment to Israel’s destruction.
Given this, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) were entirely justified in launching Monday’s missile strike on the base, which succeeded in killing several senior IRGC commanders. The attack needs to be seen in the context of an escalating proxy war between Tehran and Jerusalem that has intensified in recent months. Prior to October 7, Israeli warplanes were regularly in action attacking Iranian and Hezbollah targets in Syria in an attempt to disrupt the IRGC’s efforts to expand its military presence along the Syrian border with Israel.
Israeli military activity has increased significantly since then, not least because Hezbollah and other Iranian-backed militias have used their bases in Syria and southern Lebanon to launch a series of rocket attacks against the Jewish state. This constant bombardment has left large swathes of northern Israel desolate with many Israelis forced to abandon their homes and seek shelter in the main urban areas further south.
The IDF’s response has been to launch a series of air strikes in Syria targeting key IRGC commanders, including December’s assassination of Razi Mousavi. A key calculation in its willingness to attack Iranian targets in Syria has been that, for all Tehran’s bluster about supporting Hamas, the Islamic Republic has little appetite for a direct confrontation with Israel, preferring to use its proxies, such as Yemen’s Houthis, to do its dirty work.
Concerns that Israel’s latest attack could finally provoke Tehran to retaliate are certainly being taken seriously in Jerusalem after senior IRGC officials warned that the Israeli action will not go unanswered. The IDF has cancelled leave for all combat units while mobilising more reservists for air defence units in anticipation of an Iranian attack.
Just how much Iran will want to escalate tensions in the region, though, is a moot point. The last time the IRGC suffered a major setback, when the Trump administration assassinated another Quds Force chief, Qassem Soleimani, at Baghdad airport in 2020. The Iranian Supreme Leader vowed “tough revenge” in response, but ultimately there was no follow through.
Similarly, Iran will be wary about becoming involved in a direct military confrontation, not least because the Israelis have made it abundantly clear that, in the event of an Iranian attack, it will respond by destroying Hezbollah’s terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon and Syria, just as it is doing to Hamas’s in Gaza.
For all their grand-standing about wiping Israel off the map of the Middle East, the ayatollahs are well aware that, if it came to direct hostilities, they would be no match for the Israelis’s superior firepowe

Someone made a challege on PDF that Iran was going to respond by Sunday? Nothing has happened so far. Its better for Iran to attack some Israeli military installations at Golan Height and move on. Iran should secure its ally Syria, help build up the SAA to defend itself against foreign attacks. This will be the biggest revenge.

18% of Israel are muslim. Lets drop the nuke idea.
Closer to 20 person, right now I’m all for all of these countries in the Middle East to get nuclear capability only because maybe it will result in all of these countries to backdown and be to afraid of the outcome and the Middle East will become a nuclear free zone. The user didn’t explicitly say use nukes after a test he said hit them hard I’m hoping he meant conventional methods.

Ridiculous reason as then it means no country can be attacked if there are likely to be some Muslim casualties.

Some settlements barely have any Muslims and this 18% figure is an average.

The poster did not explicitly claim that Iran needs to drop a nuke on the entity but he said test nuke first and then hit them "hard". My understanding of Iranian "hard" strike is with conventional weapons where Iran has a massive advantage in missiles.

With a nuke detonated then neither the entity or the US will dare retaliate back much, with maybe a few Jericho missiles launched back against Iran with no or minimal damage if Iran can shoot them down(Arman ABM operational?)

IR is always in contact with the Americans. Their FM is going to the US soon.

Iran should really think about testing its nukes.

That would really go a long way in sending the message.

They will face complete isolation and extreme sanctions. Its best for them to copy Israel, build nukes but don't test them.
