Iranian airspace is open as of now - so interesting he did not fly over Iran ?

( And looks like China refused to allow him to fly over Tibet and Zangnan aswell ? An airliner can comfortably fly over other Himalayas so there must have been a restriction put in place ?)

To be fair China allows no one to fly over that area.

Yeah, Iran would have been a much shorter journey, interesting they did not go that route
