some rumours of Tom Cotton, though, which would be very bad if true.

clear that Trump and Vance do not want war with Iran but they do want economic war and a return to 'maximum pressure' sanctions, which will rely on China's compliance. Hard to balance that with a renewal of their trade war against China (Trump's top priority), but China is likely to use Iran oil exports as leverage in those trade negotiations...

The only ‘surprise’ is Pompeo who probably never wanted the job anyway.The other two were never in contention. Imagining otherwise falls into the simplistic caricature of Trump which is mostly incorrect.

Trump is a transactional conman. He has no allegiances.

Brian Hook + Tom Cotton is not a good combination for Iran

Vance seems the least interested in war with Iran, it is surprising to me he is interested in mixing with guys like Pompeo and Cotton
 
Nope. None of this is being viewed correctly. These posts are without merit and skin the pre-TP II posts.
