I strongly disagree, much of the war issues are fixable. Reform of agricultural practices, renovation of water infrastructure, and educating the population on water waste would all contribute. Though the last one is probably not possible since we are so greedy and entitled.

The foundation is the same It’s just a matter of which direction the country is moving towards. It will take generations to reverse all the damage IRI did to Iranian society, but we have the resources. What we lack is leadership. But we need a miracle to solve the water crisis because I am 100% certain IRI won’t solve it. If the water crisis isn’t solved by itself or by foreign intervention, then you don’t have to worry because there will be no Iran left to worry about.
