I have talked to my Iranian friends who live in Iran. They used to have different views regarding Irans future. Some supported IRI, some supported reforms, some supported complete change of State (from Islamic to Secular)Iran is in desperate need of social reforms. I think most Iranians are very delusional about how life in the west is. They think everyone in the west is a millionaire living like the instagram influencers.
I also feel most regular iranians inside Iran do not have a voice. The few who have gets dismissed and labeled as «regime agents» The Iranians living in the west who see through the propaganda can’t talk openly out of fear of being labeled as a «terrorist supporter, Islamist, extremist, oppressor etc.» The result is that the pro-Israeli diaspora and the «grass is greener» lot becomes the voice of all Iranians. What is the solution to this?
Today, they agree on Islamic Republic has lost the support of the people and needs to go. They also have different views on how the Islamic Republic needs to end.
