I truly hope there is no new war - Israel will flatten the whole of Beirut - be under no illusions on that. Lebanon has nothing that can stop the IDF and their favourite 2,000 lb bombs. People need to understand the level of destruction that Israel will bring on the whole of Lebanon to understand why this must be avoided.
At this point i wonder what is the Israeli "red line" for leveling Lebanon civilian positions
Hezbollah:
-Killed many, more than at least 50 personnel members
- Made multiple bases inoperable
- Owns 10km in the north
- Hammered bases at will without any interception
- Re-hammered bases to be sure they are all empty of personnel
- Destroyed at least 30-50+ vehicles, from cars to tanks
- Made a hardcore fire in the north
- Made settlers flee the north in mass
- Uses top attack weapons with 10km range
- Used high caliber 333mm rockets
What Hezbollah has not done yet is firing ballistic missiles, this is maybe the "red line"
I agree with you that Israel if war is "declared on Hezbollah", would level civilian positions without any shame and will claim that everyone inside Lebanon is a terrorist like they are doing with Gaza
The firefighting department made clear that they would not be able to sustain carpet bombing with 2000lbs bombs, which is the only thing they are competent at doing, and claim every impact is "Hezbollah itself"
