Listen i don't know (and i don't care) who was in charge of the US in 1982, but 300 marines died along with 50 french paras from an attack they clearly knew where it came from and why it came, the men in charge did nothing
I don't know if the airliner shootdown or Praying Mantis were the responses, but if it was it would have took them 7 years to respond
Lebanon clearly demonstrated to the US that if they are involved in massacres of our population and helping tyrants by providing them with WMDs and invasion/illegal bases in other countries, there will also be massacres on their side, this was also demonstrated during the US double invasion of Iraq (even i admit they were terror attacks that affected civilians)
The US should "glorify" any of their deaths and put them on a frame/board in every arms manufacture and military parade or on a big screen with family approval, i don't think there are a lot of US casualties in the world recently but anyone dying in service should be "glorified" in the sense of giving to the other soldiers the idea of what being in the army is, that it is not a part time job or some game, and that people just like them died while being in service whether being killed or being killed from an accident, even a simple factory lethal accident. You do make a fair point, in that US military strategy seems casualty averse, whereas Iranian strategy seems to accept, and even - dare I say it - glorify, the losses among its cadres, by comparison. motivation does make up for a lot of deficiencies in resources, I must admit.
Unfortunately this may be the opposite of his advice, but things can changeWe should never become so infatuated with another nation as to loose focus of our country's best interests and start making decisions based on our love for another nation. He also said; We should never become consumed by another country's hatred.
George Washington is one of the US forefather if I'm not wrong and gave an advice for the future of the US:
We should never become so infatuated with another nation as to loose focus of our country's best interests and start making decisions based on our love for another nation. He also said; We should never become consumed by another country's hatred.

There are no Iranian equivalent of G.W from a date perspective but we can take many of the post-revolution figures such as Khomeini, i don't know well his works but there are countless of mention of supporting the oppressed, the famous "not the west nor east", the removal of colonial entities from the country and the removal of tyrants in power. What he said remains correct thus far, since it is only the relentless pursuit of national interests is what guides US policies, without resorting to such emotional concepts as love or hatred that rightfully belong in the personal domain. But I wonder if one could apply the same advice to the Iranian perspective as applied to USA? Just look at many, if not not almost all, of your compatriots here. Staying relevant to the topic, of course.

"If you have 1 chance on 100, work with the 1% as much as you can"
The country grown, people became literate, Islam was preserved, everything grew higher despite thousands of sanctions year by year, westernization inevitably happens but at a moderated pace compared to western countries, the country became capable of defending itself Tehrani Moghaddam said "Never again" after the Iraq war, and arming the oppressed (Palestine, Syria, Iraq after Saddam), but the first aim of arming these countries were not 100% on the oppressed side but because threats of all sorts in the span of a decade came from these neighbor countries (Al Qaeda, ISIS, Talebans, others) in which some were 50km close to the Iranian borders at the peak of ISIS in 2014 and needed enhanced weapons and short-term interventions (with the approval of the governments to act against them).
The economy issue is both internal and external, but it doesn't stop to economy but this makes interactions, deals, business, commerce, trading very hard with other countries as they are exposed to massive sanctions if they do engage in anything with Iran.
One thing I must admit I absolutely love about the Iranians is that they have proudly owned all their history, not from a set time point onwards depending no who or what is in power. For example Pakistani textbooks start from Bin Qasim's entry into Sindh, and Saudi Arabian from the advent of Islam, with a footnote here or there about anything prior.
I also note your comment that "westernization inevitably happens". Would you elaborate on that a little bit more, please?

Since 50-60s, whether the past government or the current:
- Lots of American food restaurants/fast food (no mcdonalds/KFC because of sanctions but you have their clones in Iran that even takes the same brand names), they are popular for the burgers etc they see in videos or TV that they wouldn't be able to taste unless going to America
- American products (Microsoft Windows, xbox, PCs, laptops, machines etc)
- Increased use of social medias such as Instagram, Tiktok which is the most popular behind Telegram, then Twitter and Facebook
- American TV shows and cartoons etc
- some women less willing to put more dress, influenced by social medias or foreign influencers
- Most influencers inside Iran are also completely westernized

Why this isn't going into full decadence with LGBTQ+, decadent ideologies etc
- Being gay is punished thus people will less likely do their coming out or say it in public or wanting to impose their sexuality to others like it is seen in some western country where in the future we could expect to have to prove that you are not homophobic by doing it with a gay
- Limited internet, no porn industry in the country
- There is no first amendment
- Harsh punishments sometimes aimed to deter others from doing the same
- A lot of rural don't even have internet and don't care at all, they are fully into their land and work, people tend to forget that a massive chunk of Iranians are from rural zones
None of these are applied in western countries thus allowing the decadence train to move indefinitely forward
No country in the world has been spared from that (besides maybe the hermit kingdom of NK)
I wonder what is referred as "normal injuries", scratches, PTSD? And "serious" amputations?

with respect, hope you also volunteer to go and stop genocide , after all you can go to JannahStopping a genocide matters to most sane people and throughout history older men have been the decision makers in war or governance. I don't see what such ageist comments have to do with anything. Our fighters may go to Jannah whereas there's will not.
and you believe Prying mantis was answer to Beirut Barack attack ?I don't know if the airliner shootdown or Praying Mantis were the responses, but if it was it would have took them 7 years to respond
a correction being gay is not punishable by law , it carry a big stigma in society but the law only punish same sex sexual relation. being gay is not punishable.- Being gay is punished thus people will less likely do their coming out or say it in public or wanting to impose their sexuality to others like it is seen in some western country where in the future we could expect to have to prove that you are not homophobic by doing it with a gay
