Iranian Foreign & Resistance Front Strategy & Operations

Local Israeli media reported preparations for a major bombing of Iran.
Also, according to the WSJ in the US, the Trump administration is already considering concurring with this and deploying the US Air Force to conduct a large-scale bombing of Iran as well.
Unfortunately, while Khamenei and the reformist leaders are having impossible dreams of negotiations with Israel and the US, the final hour is rapidly approaching.
There have been statements from Netanyahu suggesting that the overthrow of the Iranian regime is near.
With the quick collapse of Syria, both Netanyahu and Trump are leaning toward the idea that Iran is easily conquerable.
I would hate to see the Iranian people defeated in a blitzkrieg surprise attack, as Assad did, with their eyes turned away from reality and unprepared to the last minute.
Please wake up.
It won't be so easy. Iran has been preparing this moment for the last 40 years. The price would be so high that Israel would be deleted from the map. I read news about It and if there are new real plan, that means a deffinitive push towards nuclear weapons.

Not wise to stand against the Western Empire with its tentacles of Zionism and Ottamanism unless you have a huge financial backer (like China) that can stomach the national building process or a coalition of rich countries (the Arab monarchs with unlimited pockets).
This is spot on. While Iran did at some point (soleimani era) show tactical brilliance. The Iranian rial is simply no match for never ending supplies of American dollars. Our GDP is comparable to Pakistans. Economically we cant compete. If we had a robust economy, the situation would be completely different with Iran playing a direct role both in the Israel-Hezbollah war and Syria. Nasrallah would probably still be alive and Assad would remain president.

Well put bro.......most outsiders don't understand Iran.

Iran is not suicidal.......that's the first reality. The other reality is self preservation.

Anything after that depends on the whims of the ruling gubment politics and economy.
I guess we shall find out brother, who knows what more.

Analysis of Syria's collapse:

It was well within Iran's capacities to reverse the gains by the terrorists. Iran was prepared and had significant assets there as well. The situation on the ground was no different than the last time and Iran was even better positioned to address it. The platform was provided by the Syrian Arab Army and pro Assad militia in 2011. In this latest case, however, the SAA/militia simply lost the desire to continue. So a platform no longer existed. In fact, the SAA had systemically reduced the infrastructure and mechanisms Iran had put in place over the years since 2011. This scenario has correctly been described by Iranian authorities.

The question that remains for me is what were the calculations by Iranian strategists that deemed that it was not worthwhile to reverse Assad's/SAA's inaction vs the new complexities of supplying Hezbollah and access to the Mediterranean over the years?

I personally believe, an important factor was Assad's fear for his life, especially after so many AoR assassinations by Zionia.

At this point he should ask for Israel's price to buy Syria in its whole. Sunni religious country at its peak level

Israel to capture Damascus soon (HTS doesn't seem to care and asks for "good relations" with Israel)

Iran should cut all funding to Sunni religious countries

It would be hilarious but very sad at the same time if Israel manages to capture Damascus, Homs and Aleppo in the mid-term

HTS will do nothing and ask for "good relations" with them

Sunnis gonna Sunni. This is what happens when Salafi sunnis gets their own country, they become global prostitutes and powerless in less than a week, and i'm not talking on future massive terrorism issues that will also strike Europe and the US

Why should Iran care if arabs want to prostitute themselves?

HTS is not Sunni, HTS is a new acronym of Alqaeda/isis which was previously called AlNusra. These groups are terrorists registered in the UN and are creations of the CIA and MOSSAD. Their ideology is Wahabism and Wahab (historically) was neither Sunni nor even Muslim: in fact, Wahaba worked with the British regime and considered Muhammad a Luther-style reformer and not a prophet, nor did he consider the Quran a divine revelation. Wahhabism is like a "Middle Eastern Mormon", created by the British crown.

All Sunni muslims and especially Palestinians and Palestine supporters should read this

But are they not supported by the sunni population? If US can so easily deceive sunnis with terrorist jihadists then there is something else to it
