Iranian Foreign & Resistance Front Strategy & Operations

If Russia wins their war, they owe tens of billions worth of US dollars or gold/gems to Iran as well as contracts favorising Iran

I wouldn’t expect much out of Russia. Tempered expectations. Russians much like Chinese have no true “allies” just satellite countries (Belarus and NK respectively)

Ironically Russians craved nothing more than to be seen as “equals” by America. Except America only sees White Anglo Saxon’s as equals anyone else is a class below.

Russia should guarantee the supply of ammunitions to Iran from the Caspian sea, denying any future NATO assets in the Caspian sea, transfer of satellite data from the enemy in case of a war and transfer at least one unavailable technology to others such as R-37 missile production line with a Su-35 and helicopter production line

This all is irrelevant. The best thing Russia can offer is a mutual defense pact. An attack one is considered an attack on all.

Unfortunately Russia and China refuse and embrace lone wolf aka omega ideology. They do not wish to form strong alliances with anyone.

Unfortunately only way you can stand up to Western Imperialism is by forming alliances. The way Persia fell is Greek nation states finally United against a much larger adversary.

Same applies today.

Just doing what NATO is doing in case of an enemy operation on Iran

Iran is impenetrable fortress. The economic costs would sink nearly any country on the planet. It’s mountain people and it’s topography forms a natural defense for any adversary foolish to invade. That is what makes Alexander’s conquest so remarkable.

The only way Iran falls is by extermination (nuclear weapons) or from within (civil unrest). Land invasion would require over 1M soldiers and no one not even NATO can stomach that cost. Maybe in 1940’s they could stomach it or 1960’s. But countries today are very wary of massive wars. Proxy wars and color revolutions are the goal.

And help to create a joint Iran Russia fighter and give access to supersonic/hypersonic LACM.

We must avoid the pitfalls that Hitler fell into. He pulled scientists away from nuclear weapon project because they deemed it impossible. Meanwhile he added numerous wonder weapon projects thst consumed the Germany funds. These weapons while simply amazing for their time would never win the war by themselves.

Ironically if he stuck to nuclear weapons and used Van Buren to develop a missile with a large enough warhead space (ie a hypothetical quasi ballistic V-4 rocket) he could have won the war by nuking London and Paris (after they lost it).

What Iran needs is a future interceptor to protect its skies enough to scare NATO. It doesn’t need to build better than America just have more quantity and good enough quality.

Russia owes big to Iran, i hope this is not yet another scam and that Putin will befriend Trump to get unsanctionned, otherwise Iran should arm Ukrainian resistance groups if Russia does this disgusting move that i really hope will not happen

Russia is done. Never to be integrated back into the west. I said this was coming years ago everyone laughed saying Putin and Russia are mighty. It was clear as day when they put interceptors in Poland and claimed it was to intercept Iranian missiles.

The West debt and the notion of fiat is unbearable and the only way to get out of it is to reset the global debt. The only way you can do that is with a world war so large that countries will “forgive” debts to the US and the creation of a singular currency and unipolar world.

Maybe I’m wrong. But I believe the West ultimate aim has been unipolar world and that means removing Russia, China, and Iran. Russia is already weakened and Putin will not live forever. Xi is fighting a dying population with no loyalty to communism anymore. Iran has its own struggles.

If they do not unite, the West will slowly weaken the 3 pillars of resistance and then pick them off one by one. It’s a clever strategy, give enough carrots to prevent a unified alliance, so you can continue your plan.

This is a century long plan that started back when Soviet Union collapsed in 1990.

So far they removed Saddam, Ghaddafi, flipped Ukraine to western control, and isolated the remaining “threats” aka the Big 3 + 1 (China, Russia, Iran + North Korea).

Just my 2 cents. Hopefully I’m completely off base here.

Rubymar is not yet sunk according to the UK, operations are being held to unsink the ship using water excavators and classified machines

What’s the point in unsinking it? Unless it’s to test “classified machines” in real situation.

I can’t believe how much taxpayer money UK is pissing away on Yemen.

Houthis strike MV True Confidence, 3 killed and 4 injured, first fatalities in Houthi shipping strikes

23 man crew forced to abandon the ship. Ship until very recently owned by US private equity firm.

The attack seems likely to have been a result of the ship’s previous ownership by Oaktree, one of the US private equity firms that is most active in shipping investment. One person familiar with the issue said the vessel had changed hands to the new owners as recently as February 27.

The vessel had a crew of 15 Filipinos, four Vietnamese and one Indian. There were also three security guards — two Sri Lankans and one Nepalese.

A picture posted by Centcom of the vessel showed the missile had inflicted severe damage to the accommodation block housing crew cabins.

The ship, which was carrying a cargo of steel products and trucks from the Chinese port of Lianyungang to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia and Aqaba in Jordan, was flying the flag of Barbados.

Uptick in success of Houthi strikes recently. Two biggest successes are sinking of Rubymar and major strike on MV True Confidence, but quite a few others struck causing diversions to planned routes and fires on board.

Resistance Front Has Great Unexploited Potential: IRGC Quds Force Chief

Addressing a session of Iran’s Assembly of Experts in Tehran on Wednesday, General Qaani said the Al-Aqsa Storm operation against the Zionist regime indicated that it is impossible to ignore the resistance front.

Describing the resistance front as an integrated power, the commander said the front has massive capabilities, although it has not fully exploited its potential yet.

He noted that the havoc on Gaza wreaked by the Israeli onslaught will be made up for, but the Zionist regime won’t be able to save face and repair its credit.

The Israeli regime’s sole achievement in the war on Gaza has been the massacre of around 40,000 people, most of whom were women and children, while the Palestinian forces have maintained their lands and dignity and have frustrated Israel, he added.

“The resistance front, specifically the Hamas forces in the Al-Aqsa Storm operation, have taken up offensive position and have heroically inflicted fundamental challenges upon the Israeli army by relying on their faith and weapons,” the general stated.

Overview of Yemeni resistance strikes against shipping linked to Israel, US and UK (since 19 November 2023):

At least 40 ships targeted (including US Navy warships)
1 ship captured (Galaxy Leader)
1 ship sunk (MV Rubymar)
2 ships abandoned (MV Rubymar and True Confidence)
At least 20 ships successfully struck and damaged (mostly minor fires and other damage)

Also: at least 2 US MQ-9 UAVs shot down + 2 US Navy Seals KIA (allegedly when attempting to intercept arms smuggling attempt).

Success rate (% of attacks that result in at least one successful impact) seems quite high (c. 50%). Much higher than I thought, albeit that the large majority of these caused only minor damage (mostly using drones).

It appears Iran lacks a CM or BM (maybe outside of Sejill naval variant) that could destroy a mega tanker in one strike.

This should be added to the R&D agenda as it may be of importance in future naval warfare to have such a weapon.

what country has CM that can destroy a mega tanker in one strike?

whatever missile was used by the Houthis here was sufficient to cause several KIA/WIA and cause entire crew to abandon the ship. I think that is good enough

P series could do it, at least for normal tanker, specially the earlier versions holding up to 1000+kg warhead (P-70)

Kh-22 would also break a tanker in half

Remind the Iran Iraq war, P-15s were used, the Chinese Sy had a completely disproportionate warhead from an already disproportionate 500kg warhead of the Russian version

They have so far always sunk anything that they touched

My theory is that Houthis uses special modified warheads
