They killed some, they didnt kill the spiritual leader who is really in charge or the president. But that was not my point, my point was if they have limited objectives like to destroy missile infrastructure then they dont need large interceptor stockpiles because they know Iran will pursue peace.

To me it seems like they have mobilised internal sabotage units in Iran that are participating in violent unrest, these so-called protests. Now trumpy wants to destabilise the Iranian government and killing or kidnapping leaders may be a way to do that.
Remember before the full attack on Iran, Israel showed its hand a few times - they used on the ground saboteurs to kill Hamas leader in Tehran, they used the hand held missiles and drones then to sabotage Iranian air defences.
Venezuela could also be a prelude to see what may happen if they pursue toppling the government.

Putin called the government of Iran “nuts” back in the day. So don’t expect Russia to come to the rescue.

What would be the objectives ? Kill or capture Khamenei and top leadership and seize that enriched uranium ?
