I have to disagree.....90% of Iranians don't consider themselves arrogant, or spout anything about the glory of the Persian empire....if you visit Iran, you will see. Don't confuse pride, or nationalism with arrogance. Iranians are indeed very patriotic, and perhaps that's why we tolerate bad governance so much. In any case, the arrogance you're describing is probably the Iranian expats living abroad, or the few inside that have a good enough command of the English language to say such things. I say earlier Iranians are politically ignorant.....due to being sealed off from the rest of the world for the last 4 decades, and even longer before the revolution. They're easily swayed by rumors and propaganda. With that said, I cannot comment on their education levels, we're a STEM heavy society.....much like India or Pakistan. Our education covers those academic subjects...rightly so, STEM can be transported any where in the world and you can be employable. You can't do that with Persian history, or arts.

I mean it's Right you would knows better things on ground will be different than on social media. But online . It's not patriotism. It's pure arrogance. There is a difference. Everyone has had empires but the way the Iranians online mention Persia is very arrogantly worded and conyeved . Respectfully.

Jamming a downlink groundbased terminal like the ones used by starlink is somthing that that Iran possesses the technical capacity to achieve.

Not 100% but enough to cause considerable packet loss leading to degraded service.

LEO satellite service use Ka/Ku band and VF - all signals rely on SNR: Signal to Noise Ratio.



Simply put injection of noise signals reduces the signal quality - the terminal sends a SYN message known as a Sync: this is a "hello I am here".

Starlink will send back anACK: Acknowledge message along with another SYN with the "Keep Alive Timer"

This is the host saying "Hello I hear you, I am here waiting for your response"

And then the Starlink terminal will send back a further ACK 1 with packets.

By injecting noise across the spectrum the aim of this type of jamming is to make it difficult or impossible for the Grounf Terminal to tx/Rx (Transmit/Receive) the signal from the host LEO constellation. This leads to packet loss and degraded service - see real-time image of Starlink Jamming Inside Iran:

Why do they do stuff like this, do they seriously believe this will get Europe on their side? The ambassadors can just report that protesters are being forced to defend themselves from the police and this will give the west further ammunition.

Pepe Escobar is Brazilian and has some fame here in Brazil.

On Brazilian YouTube, he had created some videos of himself using A.I , then his opponents took his A.I-generated image (with his voice) and started creating several videos with him speaking against Russia, China, Iran, and claiming that NATO/USA is right... many people "fell for the scam" and still don't understand, while others have dubbed it the "Pepe Escobar multiverse," with variants of him spreading throughout the Brazilian internet.
