Iranian Foreign & Resistance Front Strategy & Operations

No way on earth Israel can nuke Iran. Israel will never want to involve itself in nuclear war because of a simple reason that is its tiny size. Even 5-10 nukes is enough to severely damage the only jewish country of the world. So, they don't want nuclear war.

Israel's benefit / advantage is in tactical war with modern air warfare. They have modern airforce and modern air defense. They don't need to go to nuclear. So don't worry on nukes and don't be so much frightened of Israel. Iran MUST give a befitting response to the latest attack otherwise it will become a new normal.
Israel knows it can get away with any crime under the sun. What makes you think resorting to nuclear strike is beneath them. Their air force is at a disadvantage because for every sortie they need to fly over 1000 km just to reach Iran's borders. These things can't be dismissed out of hand like,. Everything is taken into consideration by the military and civilian leadership.

To many Hollywood movie watchers on here who think nukes can be used haphazardly whenever a country is in the mood.

Even when Israel was at risk of being overrun by the Arabs in the Arab-Israeli wars they didn’t use any nukes. It was hotly debated at the time if they would even use nukes if Arabs broke thru defenses and took control of Jerusalem.

Now suddenly they are going to use nukes in a conventional skirmish against Iran in 2024?

Facts are no country has used nuclear weapons in over 75 years. There is a reason for that.
Israel hasn't defeated hamas as a fighting force from under its nose after over 5 months of ground operations and you think they will engage Iran conventionally from over 1000kms away? Just because something hasn't happened to date does not mean that it is impossible to happen in the future.

This says Hamas officials were the source. And Hamas in the days following openly credited Iran, likely trying to drag the Axis into the war.

This doesn’t say Iran led the operation. Hamas fighters and leaders visit Iran routinely. Nothing new. Irans military aid to Hamas is no secret.

This says Iran was surprised by the attack and quotes US officials. So how could Iran be leading an attack it is Suprised by?

So I still don’t see an article where US officials are quoted as saying Iran was behind the attack.

Your best source of evidence was an article citing Hamas as its source. Which isn’t suprising since Hamas openly said Iran was instrumental in the attacks in the days that followed and even to this day. The General that was killed in Syria, Hamas said he was key to their Al Asqa flood operation. Means nothing.

I'm not targeting you brother but the WSJ is criticized exactly for this, this is a plague among some medias https://newsliteracymatters.com/2019/09/30/q-why-are-journalists-allowed-to-use-anonymous-sources/

It’s a double edged sword. officials will only talk “off the record” because it is illegal for them to disclose confidential/classified information. It’s a routine practice going back decades. A grey area of geopolitics. More often than not these leaks turn out to have truth. But yes, it doesn’t stop some reporters from using unreliable off the record sources or completely bending the truth.

But for example Seymour Hersh is an award winning journalist for New Yorker who used anon sources in his debunk of the Assad gas attack during Obama Admin. There are reliable journalists out there. And there liars. It’s unfortunately the way the “game” is played.

Not in short term... It's s strategic and long term process which we should carry out. But Iran should at least create 5-10 bombs in short term.
You realize using the word 'should' falls well within the woulda-shoulda meme? Right? Thee nothing you say that Iran (and many here) hasn't thought of already.

The 'retaliate now!' crew remind me of the lollipop gild representing Munchkin Land:

Some of the members want to see Iran pigeonholed to strike at a time when israel is most prepared for it instead of allowing our military to chose the most appropriate time to strike!

Thought of, promised, not done.

What good is 5-10 bombs in the "Short term" if Israel nukes Iran in response to Iran's retaliation?
So because we're late, we have to wait and get nuked by crazy like netanyahu? or become victims of chemicals by madman like saddam? who is responsible for not letting us fight back? It's because of mismanagement and cowardice that we have not tested nuclear weapons. You would not ask this question if we already had nuclear weapons.

I said Iran will respond either tonight or in 3 days and i reiterate:

- Iran will retaliate, not with words, but violence

- This will not be random targets such as Kurdish businessmen or whatever "secret base", this will also not happen inside Iraq nor Syria

- There will be material damage and fatalities

- It will use big ordnance

So saturday night, if nothing happens, i will be humiliated and exposed for life on this forum, screenshot this
Just leaving it saved here so we can really check it after the deadline has passed.

Patarames seems to think Iran will at the minimum activate BM assets in Yemen. He still thinks a separate direct Iranian response will happen.

This is intresting because when Brig General Allahdadi (IRGC in charge of Syria operations under Solemani) was killed alongside several Iranian officers and Hezbollah including Son of Mughniyeh, Iranian didn’t do anything. Hezbollah did fire two ATGM at an Israeli border patrol unit later.

Only for Solemani did Iran overtly retaliate in a major manner.

It seems even Iran knows it has to do something this time around that it didn’t do in the past for similar attacks.
