Iranian Foreign & Resistance Front Strategy & Operations

Attack on Iranian consulate in Syria was an act of war.

Iran will either attack Israel's embassy in Jordan or the airbase inside Israel, which houses F-35s that attacked Iranian consulate in Syria.
Direct attack inside Israel has no precedent by IRI, that is declaration of war which is the very thing IRI has tried to avoid very hard, makes no sense they would suddenly go to war now.

The retalitation needs to hurt Israel, they have killed so many Iranian commanders, Hezbolla and Syrian forces since the uptick in attacks. If its a muted response attacking some Iraqi bungalow of some billionaire that would send the wrong message completely.

I think targeting Embassy in Jordan or other surrounding arab states is risky as it will make relations with neighbours worse and they will act more and more against Iran. It may actually be better to hit Israeli forces in Gaza, they won't expect that.

If Iran doesn't respond to this then, as the saying goes in Iran, "khak too sare hamashoon", because this is a direct attack on Iran. Iran must have red lines with animals like the zionists otherwise it just shows weakness and lack of gheyrat.

Reports that 2 of Zahedi's deputies were also martyred in Israel's strike on the Iranian Embassy in Damascus today

Very good point by @AmirIGM on the futility of striking a neighbouring Israeli embassy: "Attacking embassies in foreign countries would be cowardly and easily shift the blame from Israel to Iran."

BETTER TARGET = Eilat

میدان های گازی اسراییل در میترانه. یا مثلا بزنن به ایلات که دفاع ضد بالستیکش فقط 12موشک Arrow هست(6 تا رو 3 و 6 تا ارو 2)

(From Twitter: Awes Spad)

Israel has only 12 Arrow ABMs defending Eilat, it is very vulnerable to ballistic missile strikes. However, this would for sure start a direct Iran-Israel war, so I strongly doubt this will be the decision.

3 Iranian Brigadier Generals (and multiple diplomats) were martyred in the Israeli attack against Iran's Embassy in Damascus

Brigadier General Mohammad-Reza Zahedi who was a top commander who previously commanded the IRGC Air Force and Ground forces

Brigadier General Mohammad-Haji Rahim, the Deputy Commander of the IRGC’s Quds Force’s Operations in Syria and Lebanon

Brigadier General Hossein Amirollah, the Chief of the General Staff for IRGC’s Quds Force in Syria

Zionia is clearly provoking Iran and Iran has not bitten...correctly...but this time I don't believe it's avoidable. Critical Zionia assets will probably be struck. Let's see what the IRI conjures.

Critical note: This has happened as both internal and external pressure on the Zionia regime has reached a crescendo.

Once again my predictions come true.

Now Israel is openly leveling Iranian consulates (a war crime).

Would any other major military power tolerate their embassy/consulate being blown up by missiles? Only Iran it seems…

But don’t worry, users on here will tell you that this is a sign of weakness and that Iran has the enemy right where it wants them.

Even Joseph Goebbels would laugh at that level of propaganda

At what point does a provocation cross the line and become a declaration of war? Currently they have trapped us in a cycle of not responding, which is making them even more emboldened to the extent they are now directly striking Iranian territory (legally) to murder multiple high ranking IRGC officers. For any other country in the world, this is a declaration of war. Failure to respond suitably now will only invite further 'provocation', each one more serious and damaging than the last. Should we wait until the end point before we respond, or nip it in the bud while we still can?

Please also keep news here, some don't want to go on an external thread

Just now

Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman said Iran, while reserving its rights to take countermeasures, will decide on the type of reaction against Israel. Iranian ambassador to Damascus said the response will be “proportionate” and at the “right time and place”.
