No response from Iran. Iranian security apparatus once again show utter incompetency and leading officials fail to establish deterrence. There is a clear fear from leading IRI officials to escalate with Israel, despite their rhetoric. I understand wanting to keep the war away from Iran, but if you propagate such militant rhetoric you have to respond DIRECTLY to establish deterrence when you are struck directly (at home and abroad). So far they failed to do this.

Hezbollah and Iran are being watched closely now, they have a lot of work to do establish deterrence and restore credibility.
That said, the stakes are high and major escalation does not suit anyone.
