BEIRUT (Reuters) - Hezbollah has paid out more than $50 million in cash gifts to families affected by war with Israel, its leader Naim Qassem said on Thursday, as the Iran-backed group seeks to shore up its support base after a devastating conflict with Israel.

The payments of between $300 and $400 per person will total more than $77 million when paid out to all 233,500 families who registered, Qassem said in a recorded speech, thanking Iran for its financing of the effort alongside Hezbollah.

Hezbollah will also provide a lump sum of $8,000 to those whose primary homes were destroyed in the war, and $6,000 for a year of rent for those living in Beirut or its suburbs and $4,000 for those living outside the capital until they can move back home, he said. The payments would be financed mainly by Iran, he said.

Iran paying Hezbollah $77 million is peanuts compared to the US' $20 billion to Israel

Iran pays Hezbollah to rebuild civilian houses

US pays Israel to destroy civilian houses

we are not the same. you are the biggest terrorist nation the world has ever seen.

The pro-Iranians are here. Nobody's gone anywhere....:).

Simply absorbing information and seeing what's happening. Prudently. Not jumping on the Zionist propaganda band wagon and WHINING EVERY TIME something happens like the anti-Iranians are. Same people. Same old posts. And wrong EVERY TIME.

Don't forget:

this narrative that anyone who disagrees with you is "anti-Iranian" is toxic and will not be permitted

Yes, HTS is dominant in air superiority, no???😕

They have zero if that, and SAA is supported by Russian airstrikes, here is not that reason for sure
No, but now they have their own drone CAS and somewhat equal conditions on battlefield due collapse and limitation of regime and russian airforce.

Bro what are you on about. No one willingly would want to ally with Bashar Al Assad who is basically a Syrian Saddam Hussen, ideologically and politically speaking, both Baathist.
Iran allied with Bashar out of necessity, for two key reasons, he's the only Arab president in the region who's hostile to the state of Israel and he allowed the supply chain of weapons and equipment to go through Syria to Lebanon (Hezbollah), the fastest and best route, connecting Beirut-Damascus-Baghdad-Tehran. No one else would or could provide that.

Sometimes the game deals you shitty cards and you have to make the best of them. If there was anyother candidate which would also be against Israel and allow supply routes to Hezbollah, Iran would've let Bashar drown in 2011 without blinking twice.

Whatever happens next, this current opposition will be used and abused to the max by the west and Israel and when Assad is gone and they longer serve a purpose, Israel and the US will both invade Syria under the pretext of HTS is a designated jihadi terrorist organisation according to the US & EU. The Zionist are the only real winners.
In chess enforced moves lead usually to the loss of game.
I disagree with first premise that syrian opposition is pro israel per se as that assad is anti israel per se, he seeked for normalization with them also, that is part of the political game and nevertheless Iran stood by him.
At the bottom line it is all about sectarian preferences and theological differences manifested in political realm.

Of course you can not disagree, no one even asks joe average how many zillions $ from his pocket will get the most mortal, i mean most moral Israeli deadly forces, idf...but not for long, they pissed off the students, and you know what is going on after their demonstrations, always...

now Damascus is being encircled from three sides after SAA fled south region with Jordan without fighting too

HTS terrorists are reportedly now only 11km from Damascus province (from the south)
Lavrov just said that Turkey, Iran and the Russian Federation are calling for a ceasefire and a dialog between Assad and the opposition. Maybe Damascus and the coast line would be saved thanks to Moscow and Teheran, but thats the maximum Assad can hope for and its not sure at all.

Why does opposition need to accept ceasefire? there is no reason, when they finish their job, they will accept anybody to talk.

Because the "opposition" is just a dog, being used by Turkey. And Turkey is way to small to control half a country in this region as a proxy, you dont have money or people to do it. Not to mention that pretty much everyone in the region hates you. Nor the US will let you of course. So that probably will be it imo. Erdogan can show it as a great victory to the radical turks. It will definitely last for a while. But I may be wrong of course, Erdogan is 70 and his time will be up soon, maybe he wants to be remembered in Turkey and will go all in.
