To be honest this was the writing on the wall. Israel is backed by USA/Europe/Nato, plus has many powerful Arab allies.
Iran had a chance to begin WW3 and use that threat to bring Israel and U.S. to the table.
It spent 40 years building Hezbollah, Hamas/PIJ, Yemen, Iraq, Syria. All for a day of reckoning. Then for some reason on 10/7 Hamas decided it was now or never and ran straight into war without so much as a letter to Iran.
But despite how stupid it was, the world eventually came around to the brutal nature of Zionist regime. Protests across the U.S. Universities across the nation having sit ins and protests. Protests across Europe and Middle East against the genocide.
It was now or never, 40 years of weapon production and building a foreign legion of over 150,000 soldiers + 350,000 IRGC + 1 million Basij. Iran and Axis could go to UN to declare war on Israel for genocide against Muslims. And say enough is enough, until there is a Palestine there will be no peace in the Middle East. Momentum was building in the Muslim world and beyond, the Muslims had the moral high ground not the Zionists. Israel looked at them and said bring it on, let’s settle this once and for all.
Iran backed out. Decided the risk (a major war that threatened their precious gains) wasn’t worth the benefit (a seat at the world table and the start of a 2 state solution for the Holy Land).
The results are nothing short of disaster:
- the heads of Quds force in Syria and Lebanon were assassinated in an embassy attack in Syria in April 2024
-Raisi was killed (yes killed not an accident) in the summer
- Hamas destroyed a year later
- Nasrallah and the entire senior leadership decapitated
-Hezbollah mortally weakened
- And 2 weeks after Israel said Assad was playing with fire….Syria collapsed along with all the loss of all Iranian military bases/facilties and investments of the last 15 years.
And no one in Iran will be held accountable for these disastrous results. You can be damn sure.
