No as F-15 can carry like 6-8 of them each.

Think they used like 10-15 F-15s and other aircraft like F-16s as well.

Dude, they are bunker busters and designed to penetrate deep into the ground and then explode. They were not groundburst weapons like in the video.

Nasrallah died as he was too naive and thought the Zionist entity would not try to kill him in his bunker in Beirut.

“Dude” let me break it down for you “dude”

Simple math:
If a single bunker buster can go thru 100+ feet of dirt or 20+ feet of concrete.

Then that means even if Nasrallah was under 200 meters of dirt and it happened to be ALL replaced with concrete (impossible, but let’s just imagine)

That means you would need less than 30 bombs to pierce roughly 200 meters of reinforced concrete if they land and detonate in succession.

Or if he was under 250 meters of dirt and 50 meter reinforced bunker (more realistic)

Then all you need is less than 10 bombs for the dirt and 10 bombs for the bunker = less than 20.

So why you guys are saying 100 bombs is absurd.

Deif was killed before Nasrallah

it seems Nasrallah was moved between a few known locations rather than randomly moving between new places on the battlefield like Sinwar, and Hezbollah suffered an absolute intelligence breach so Israel knew where he was for years and had planned that attack in advance

when you build a massive underground compound dozens of metres underground, you will probably stay there during a war thinking you are safe rather than taking the risk to move to new random places, that doomed Nasrallah. remember Nasrallah was secretary general (a political role), not a military leader like Deif or Sinwar, so he didn't need to be on the battlefield

Deif was hunted for years. Nasrallah was not. He lived with deterrence for almost 20 years.

It wasn’t a “massive” underground compound. It was simply a deeper bunker underneath their stronghold.

Intelligence breach? Yes. But it was aided by then basically planting a flag where they were. They focused all there resources in a single neighborhood with armed guard checkpoints and areas you couldn’t take pictures.

I mean at that point it was simply tracking people via their movements and cellphones to narrow down the locations in that neighborhood. Then review historical satellite footage to see which areas were rebuilt in recent years.

At the end of the day an organization like Hezbollah couldn’t protect anyone in senior leadership while Hamas protected most of its hostages and its leader (Sinwar) for nearly a year. Sinwar was only caught because he didn’t stay hidden. Deif was killed after years of trying to assassinate him.

Nasrallah didn’t even last a week after Israel said time to meet your maker.

Hezbollah’s operational security was an embarrassment and you can thank Nasrallah and that entire leadership for that. Nasrallah didn’t want smartphones because he thought they would comprise the group, ironically an Apple IPhone is nearly impenetrable due to the company reputation at stake. Yet he went and bought pagers, not from Iran but from a random company

Now that they are gone, Iran can rebuild it to be less incompetent. Although there is no guarantee since Iran has been stuck in their own incompetence spiral for years.

IRI is lucky Trump is focused on starting trade wars with Canda, Mexico, China and Europe (and many other countries)

he has also removed the warmongers that he appointed to his first cabinet (Pompeo, Bolton, Haley)

he clearly doesn't want war with Iran and likely perceives Iran to be weak enough to agree to diplomacy instead. but can't exclude the possibility that Trump will launch some risky military plays if he perceives the risk to be low e.g., another Operation Martyr Soleimani that doesn't kill any Americans and destroys 4-5 tents in Iraq.

they are too short sighted for that, but Trump's desire to start economic war with half the planet will help force other countries to seriously consider alternatives to the US dominated global financial system
