Iranian Foreign & Resistance Front Strategy & Operations

Yemen hit one of Israel's most sensitive sites relatively accurately with one missile fired from 2000km away, successfully evading multiple THAAD and Arrow interceptors.

This might be the longest range of a ballistic missile strike in combat in history ?

Maybe that R26 Rubezh from Russia against Ukraine that was launched from farther I think it is a bit more. Anyway the record of launches and targets are more than high, and houthis are just a minor branch of the main "office". So everybody can extrapolate costs, and targets hit if...

I think it really depends on soil density

near the air bases the soil is very different to here, which impacts the size of the impact craters

Belated Confessions After Countless Lies...

Former Zionist Defense Minister Yoav Gallant:

"Israel failed to intercept numerous missiles launched by Iran in October: Iran launched 200 ballistic missiles at Israel, some of which carried between 500 and 900 kg of explosives.

Several of these missiles exploded in Israel, and we were unable to intercept them. They hit buildings and caused significant damage."

Indeed. Also, the Houthies fired from 2,000 km. We fired at Israel mainly from 1,200 km to 1,500 km. The longer the range, the greater the potential speed at impact due to gravitational acceleration. Of course, it's an oversimplification but it is obviously a factor.

Hamas didn't even bother to give us a heads-up for such a huge plan.

I still maintain that it was all coordinated by Qatar and possibly Turkey against Iran's interests. Hezbollah lost a lot in this fight. Syria was lost. The so called "axis of resistance" is in a much weaker position than it used to be before October 7th.
And Arabs are still going to normalize their ties with Israel.

This whole situation didn't hurt anybody more than the Palestinian people and Iran's regional influence.
HAMAS always seem to benefit Israel. I haven’t made up my mind on wether they are just stupid or work for Israel

That is three F-18s in 6 weeks plus 22 Rippers

Second F/A-18 Super Hornet Lost in Red Sea from USS Harry S. Truman — Major Setback for U.S. Navy in Just Over a Week

Another multimillion-dollar F/A-18 Super Hornet has been lost from the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier, marking the second such catastrophic incident in barely a week.

According to multiple sources speaking to CNN, the latest jet went down in the Red Sea following what appears to be an arresting gear malfunction during landing.

The pilot and weapons systems officer were forced to eject and were later rescued, suffering only minor injuries. But the jet, valued at over $60 million, now rests on the ocean floor — unrecovered and unrecoverable.

This isn’t an isolated incident. Just last week, another F/A-18 fighter jet fell overboard from the Truman after a “hard turn” to allegedly dodge Iranian-backed Houthi missile fire. That’s two high-tech war machines gone in a matter of days.

It is not. I watched a video from the crater and compared it to the height of the people standing nearby. It is not as deep as 25m. Probably 10m at max.
