Iranian Missiles | News and Discussions

+ 8-12 on Tel Nof
+ 2-3 on Tel Aviv
+ 1-2 in Gaza

new estimate of c. 60-64 missile impacts recorded on camera or satellite imagery (out of claimed 180 missiles launched = 33-35% penetration rate)

unfortunately the accuracy was very poor for the targets selected
There is no evidence that 180 missiles have been launched at Israel.

The number of 180 missiles was claimed by Iranian media and Iranian generals in their public statements but all this is only for internal propaganda.

Also 180 missiles is equal to 6% of Iran's total missile arsenal if you believe US claims from 2019 that Iran has 3000 missiles. No country will launch 6% of its entire missile arsenal in an attack designed to be just a WARNING

The truth is that in reality they launched maybe 50 missiles in total.

And who is the source of that new claim that 47 missiles impacted at Nevatim?

well Israel the US and Iran including top IRGC generals all said 180-200 so if you have better information feel free to let us know

50 missiles in total? we saw more than that in the video from Jordan alone and have seen evidence for more than 50 impacts in Nevatim (high res satellite imagery), Tel Nof (video of impacts), Tel Aviv (video), and Gaza (video). so you are way off.

2019 is 6 years old and those estimates were clearly way off. 6%, even if true, seems plausible (but still too high) anyway given ongoing production replenishing stocks.

Any my Irani friend with great knowledge knows how much is estimated cost iran is spending to build a underground missile city in USD and which are the most cost effective missiles in Iran inventory specific.

no one knows that cost

most cost effective MRBM is probably Kheibar Shekan or Emad MRBM

for shorter range Fateh-313 is a superb option for export with 500km range and pinpoint accuracy (look at satellite imagery from Al Asad base in Iraq from 2020)

Iran's Defence Minister: we carried out a successful test of a (new) missile with a 2,000kg warhead last week

would expect something based on Raafe engine if this was IRGC but since it is Defence Ministry there is higher chance of a new liquid fuel missile. Maybe using the leaked RD-250 engine? In any event, hopefully a small and mobile missile that can be mass produced quickly with sufficient accuracy.

What about the range? He doesn't mention the range.
