Iranian Missiles | News and Discussions

Interesting
so how many Ballistic missiles did iran fired.
it has to be 1800-2000km range weapons.
Hence that leaves

Ghadr-1 - 1,600 – 1,950 km

Emad - 1700km

what else?

distance is only 1200km (up to 1500km from other missile bases).

how will spending more on air force help this situation ? you want hypothetical indigenous Iranian 4th gen jet to cross hostile US + UK jets in Iraq then Syria to reach Israel to launch precise stand off munitions ?
let us stop drones sooner than they reach isfahan

The mass doesn't know that a missile separate with its warhead, unfortunately a lot of people will believe that the trunk means it has been intercepted while the warhead was fine

We are not in 1950 with SCUD-A or Lance that goes directly with the trunk and the warhead
Correct. The issue is that IRI’s messaging is not as well done.

Israel indicates it wants to use f-35 inside to strike Iran. Good time for Chinese and Russian radars to appear at their embassies and “consulates” in Iran; to gather signature data.
Multiple missiles throughout the country, including 3D VHF radars and/or OTH radars inside western China and satellites in space could get their chance to detect the F-35 in full stealth mode, at a relatively known time.

Data could be shared with Iranian SAM batteries (and Chinese or Russian batteries on loan) to see what they are able to do.

Israelis indirectly indicating “break out” would be an effective deterrence against them. So why wouldn’t Iran now definitely go for break out, even if it doesn’t say it out loud, but hints that it has operational warheads.

This is why Pakistan testing in 1998 (only 26 years ago, Thank You AQ Khan and all else involved) was a MUST and nowadays going from 200 warheads in 2020 to 400 warheads in 2030 is a necessity, to maintain minimum credible deterrence and stability vis a vi India.

Look at images of Iranian missiles, they have very uniquely shaped warhead tips likely pointing to MaRV warheads. These are the ones that managed to bypass very dense AD in Israel while others acted as saturation decoys.

The question is we are said to have MIRV missiles, but do we have effective MaRV warheads?

This missile strike has shown that Islamic Republic can easily destroy entire civilian and military infrastructure of the Zionist entity with cruise and ballistic missiles.

Arrow-3, David's Sling and other systems are useless pieces of jewish sh*t when it comes to dealing with Iranian missiles.

And Saudi Arabia is absolutely defenseless.
It can be done but it depends on the size of the stockpile of missiles Iran has and its manufacturing capacity

But Iran made a very smart decision to heavily focus on upgrading its missile program especially now that it has hypersonic glide vehicles according to its claim - which there is no real-time example of this being reliably intercepted at all

You can threaten all US bases in the region as deterrence too, almost stranding Israel

Yes, there are definite things we can do to make our current systems more survivable, but we need to accept we need to aim for enough more modern systems in the mix to keep the enemy guessing.

@Immortals Yet another flip to the news. Partisan claims Rezvans were, in fact, used.

I don’t believe so:

At the end of the day, Patarames is just a online talking head (with some type of engineering background). However, I have seen him be wrong before and corrected by those with much extensive engineering backgrounds respond to him. Like when he made the “heat shield” comment that was throughly debunked by someone who appeared to have a vast knowledge around rockets.
