don't think it's anything groundbreaking, not sure what the point is of showing another base with the same missiles

side note: I remember as recently as a few years ago, people would cite US intelligence estimates that Iran only had 200-300 MRBMs ... now Iran shows a new missile base that has that many MRBMs every few months.

this looks like the biggest missile base yet. one short part of the teaser video shows 40 Emad warheads on each side of a corridor with 3 more boxes behind each one on one side, suggesting a total of 200+ Emad warheads in that corridor alone

we don't know the layout but it is feasible that a large base like this could store thousands of missiles

Honestly I have not quite understood the rationale behind these reveals.

Is it meant for deterrence as in "look how badass missiles we have in this underground base, so better not mess with us"?

This strategy did not work for Hezbollah.

I guess they try to emphasise that these bases cannot be neutralised by the enemy and we can cause significant damage in response to any attack as a result

Hezbollah only had 4 underground bases and to be fair at least one of them was still operational until the end of the war, so they proved their worth. the bigger problem was likely loss of key commanders and missile operators limited how they could be utilised

I hope IRGC-ASF is developing a LACM with an internal engine inside the fuselage to reduce RCS. would be significantly harder for Israel to track and intercept and we need the enhanced accuracy of cruise missiles relative to our MRBMs

as well as supersonic anti-ship cruise missiles. relying on subsonic c-802 ASCMs to challenge USN is a horrible idea

Let's hope they use them.

Not sit on them until they are taken out.

The west can use special forces very effectively....

I was called unrealistic for stating that Iran has thousands of missiles in their bases, at least a thousand in the larger bases, and has close to a hundred bases according to military officials. I will again state that I do not think it is an exaggeration to say that Iran probably has 100 000 missiles. Let those who want laugh!

They certainly do,
However the problem is now that they know where the bases are the west can devise plans to destroy them.

It doesn't matter how deep they are, to the westerner this is simply a problem that requires a solution. They don't just sit there.

The damb buster bombs during the world war is a great example of ingenuity. Plus, they had a a country worth fighting for.

Another thing about the West and Israel in general is that they are bold. Fortune favours the bold. Hezbullah sat on their arsenal and I'm pretty sure their arsenal got taken out or a significant proportion of it at least.

Hezbullah was boasting about its abilities only to be taken away. I simply don't understand Irans showcasing. Will they suffer the same fate?

The west shows its abilities by the end result....not displays

Yes! You stated clearly. Show what you have but not show everything you have

I pray they won't have but I personally would really love to see them used but death and destruction is nothing to wished on anyone. Careful deliberation is always being done in corridors of power in Tehran.
They not sitting idly, constantly being upgraded.
Western special forces are mostly a product of the zionist propaganda factory of Hollywood. They're capable operators but hardly against a country as Iran. They still remember Tabas. The reason why they use fifth column traitors conducting sabotage and terrorist acts is that they know it is a suicide mission to try and insert special forces into Iran. The last I remember them talking such nonsense was when Iran commandeered the RQ-170 but they quickly came to their senses.

Valid points bro but there's no way besides full blown war to even come close to taking out Iranian missile bases. There's no small targeted operation nor any insertion of special forces that would be enough in this world to achieve such a thing.
I don't think Hezbollah is so out of the game as people believe. I like you though wished that they had used their big guns but I'm not responsible for millions of lives. I am also a firm believer of the survivability of Hezbollah's arsenal.
Bold is a friendly word for their unhinged behaviour.

this seems to be the biggest base shown yet, I am not sure it is a good benchmark for the others

Long range anti ship missiles are a must for Iran to keep the US at distance

Subsonic anti ship missiles seem to be easily countered by the ships defence systems at the moment and will only be useful in a large attacks with drones used to degrade those defences

nothing really new but good to see KS-2 in mass production

I would like to see Fattah-1 and Fattah-2 and Khorramshahr join these bases too

The number of Kheibarshekan missiles produced likely has surpassed the 500 number

This has to be the go-to missile to use against Israel and Syria in case of clashes, they can replace older missiles when old stocks are depleted in swarm missions

Hopefully the next to be mass produced are Fattah, Sejjil and K-4, and "precision kits" installed on them and stored missiles
