the state of radars is really bad
Well, you are seeing a Navy stretched to the limit.

Bayandor class are older than many of this forum´s members. It is too small and narrow for a safe oceanic sailing.

And Mowj are a pressure pot. Over the bridge you can see an IR/EO device (presumably for Fajr-27), just in its back the IR/EO search device for air surveillance (same of Majid) and just at its back another system, a FCR for Fajr-27. At the front of all three devices you can see even a fourth one that seems to be a small antenna, probably a ECM for shortwave emmiter (Drone jammer?). It is just 4 systems over the bridge!!!. You can see same trend in the mast. Two Radars (Band S and X, 2 IFF antennas, 2 directional antennas, at least 1 ECM and a unknown system (IR) and Tacan antenna.

Overall it is not bad. That means that IRIN needs desperately a bigger warship. Specially when you see last additions to the fleet (Makran) and overseas missions with IRGCN.

But even at such circumstances, the warships are very well mantained and show some of their last additions like IR devices and long range Noor versions (Ghadir?). Hope they can finish out the Sahand and Taftan soon.

It seems that Patarames was right concerning the IRGCN battle group formation.
