Iranian President Raisi and Foreign Minister Abdollahian die in helicopter crash in East Azerbaijan

Elections will be held in two months and we will have a new president. In fact, we hold regular elections a year earlier. But I personally like Mr. Raisi and Amir Abdullahian

@GoMig-21 The helicopter could have flew and crashed at any direction showing red lines, it could take days to find the helicopter.

If the Turkish video is the crash site. It’s becoming more and more likely the pilot due to poor visibility/weather flew too low and hit the mountain possibly he also had lost his orientation and did not follow his instrument panel. This could explain why the other 2 helicopters made the journey safely, not technical difficulties, but pilot error in poor visibility.

If the helicopter was old then there would be no terrain avoidance/warning system to alert pilot he was headed toward a collision. It could also mean no digital map or topography instruments to aid the pilot in poor visibility.

We have seen things like this happen countless times around in the world.

Well let this be a lesson. No amount of "indigenous upgrades" can keep a clunker from 60 years ago flying safely. This goes for your entire air force and armored inventory as well. Time to join the rest of the world.

That terrain looks unreal. It almost looks like a mountainous Amazon forest combination. And with the weather? This is a nightmare.

You're right and I wouldn't be surprised if it took that long. The only thing that sucks about the longer it takes is the worse the chances are that someone could be alive.

But there's still hope since they could be safe and sound with minor injuries just no way to call for help since all the comms equipment is likely destroyed from the crash.

Pakistani President Zia Ul Haq's Plane crashed with Top Brass and American Ambassador on Board in the eighties. It was thought that a carton of mangoes was loaded on the aircraft that released a poisonous gas.
