Iranian President Raisi and Foreign Minister Abdollahian die in helicopter crash in East Azerbaijan

Waiting for the accident investigation report, combined with the situation in the Middle East this year, the prospects are unclear..

Don't tell me they couldn't buy a Russian or Chinese modern equipment for the president..This modesty is too much when it comes to the heads of the state..
It’s probably worse than that. Even if their pilots had modern equipment, it’s possibly they probably didn’t follow safety procedures in thick fog.

We might see a revamp of the aviation sector in Iran, or at the very least the installation of an Enhance vision system on many of their platforms.

Our Khan is like that he thinks like any good Muslim the day we are under mud no one can stop .. reason why marram shabaz zardari and buttos keep buying new helicopters on yearly basses way common folks buy their 125 cc

And Raisi was supposedly next inline to take Khamenei's place, wasn't he? I'm wondering is Iran's policy the standard like most countries with presidents who pass that the vice president automatically assumes the position? So it would be Mohammad Mokhber of course. How popular is he and would he get reelected? What about Ahmedinejad? I know he's a current of the member of the Expediency Discernment Council and from what I remember, he was somewhat popular but not among the clerics, right? Would there be a possibility that he would come back into the picture?
Mokhber will rule the country for 50 days and then head of parliament, head of justice system and Mokhber will chose a new president

Translation please
Man, what are you doing in the middle of the field?!
What are you doing in the forest and in the rain?!

What lack of prosperity did your presidency table have?
What do you do in Varzghan, in fog and storm?!

Heart torn from orders and orders and the capital
What are you doing at the border points of Iran?!

O seven days of the week, thinking of the weak
What are you doing with the poor and the weak?

Tehran is a city and the seat of the presidency
So what are you doing between the village and the village?

Iran will have to invest serious money into protocols and equipment to minimize chances for accidents like this. Simply it is not normal under any circumstances that highest state officials fly in platforms half century old,
I commend self sufficiency in many aspects of your life but there is no possibility for 100% of it, so it is necessity to engage with nations more advanced in needed fields that you obviously can not cover.

Wasn't there a sensor on the helicopter?

I cannot believe both the President and Foreign Minister were in the same helicopter.

We need to wait before we come to judgement on the sequence of events that caused the crash but Iran needs modern helicopters and Russia and maybe even China could provide them.

If there's any legitimate criticism to be levied on the Iranians for what happened, this is it. A Bell Huey with 2 rotors is arguably one of the worst designs for helos ever IMO. I never felt comfortable looking at those things flying and there's a reason why it thumps so loudly. Because it has to spin fast enough with blades large and wide and cumbersome enough to create lift. You wonder why almost all other helos have a minimum of 4 rotor blades except those Hueys including the Cobras. Never liked them not to mention the age of this one.

And you know it wasn't a question of money that's for sure.
