The video is weird because it shows a very small drone which does not correspond to the real size of the new drones.

It seems that they named smaller Qaher drone
"Qaem"

There are 2 types of Qaher drones and they have shown the video of the launch of the smaller drone.

Here is the evidence:

Note that smaller Qaher has the same length as 1 white stripe of the deck, while the bigger Qaher has the length equivalent to 3 white stripes of the deck.

And they have shown the video of the launch of a smaller drone that has a length equal to 1 white stripe

They show a fancy looking model of a UCAv and fly a cheap RC model.

Let they laugh. For testing air operations and deck crew those are more than good.
I would like to know if Qaher has a turbofan engine enough mature for hundreds of hours lifespan and reliability enough.

Nothing to stress about! This is great news guys, great start. I'm sure we'll see the flight footage of bigger drone soon enough. It wouldn't be on the carrier if it hadn't already been flight tested, lifted and landed on the carrier. Hopefully we'll also see the flight of the full piloted version in the not too distant future. Where are all the detractors who laughed and said that the design wouldn't fly?
