I meant cartridges ;)
I mean the Iranians are putting out statements like this too in addition to the other stuff in the article.

"But Iranian media reported Wednesday that the two countries’ foreign ministers spoke by phone and discussed sharing intelligence on Jaish al-Adl."

==========================================================

“We targeted the base [in Iraqi Kurdistan] with precision-guided missiles. That does not mean Iran has struck Iraq,” he said.

“Pakistani nationals were not the target of Iranian missiles and drones. [Rather it was] the Jaish ul-Adl terrorists who have taken shelter in parts of Pakistan.” Amirabdollahian added that the targets of the strikes were Iranian nationals.

I suppose we will see how this all shapes up over rest of this month. Its quite early still.
They are juggling semantics to mend things - but it also points to a de-escalation ladder and what may come out is a formal apology to the deaths of either country’s citizens and joint ops later.

While a sour point - I see this returning to the news back burner unless someone does something stupid from either side.

They are a loose cannon brother, thats putting it mildly and nicely.

Iran could have taken Pakistan in confidence not we would have agreed to it before striking but, the strategy it has adopted is really contradictory to the policies of a sovereign state!Pakistan has always tried to built up good brotherly relationships with Iran despite US sanctions. This is now ended they blew a hole right thru it , Pakistan will be in future a less minded on Irans sensitivity on relations and policies we make Tehran regime has brought this Upon themselves.
Pakistanis have always had their collective heads in the sand with regards to Iran. Since '79 Iran has time and again done everything to undermine Pakistani interests, has collaborated with Pakistan's enemies and provided them launching pads to conduct terrorism and also cultivated proxies within Pakistan to carry out targeted assassinations as well as serve in Iran's wars in the region.

It's about time Pakistani establishment gets their perennially enslaved mindset sorted out. But I am not hopeful, sepoy might just be looking for a handout by Iranis one way or another. They might use this excuse to bolster some recently lost goodwill amongst the masses. Either way, the response won't amount to jack$hi+ and will be a huge eyewash.

First of all we should analyze why Iran and Taliban getting courage to attack Pak soil from time to time.

Reasons are below.

1- Traitors within Pakistan due to sectarian division. ( Iran-Saudi game being played on Pakistan soil)
2-Pakistan blind eye towards Iran past actions/infiltrations ( Indian spies presence in Iran and directly supported from military circles there)
3- Silly defense approach of concentrating on India.
4-Absence of sufficient weaponry deployment in Baluchistan i.e. SAMs or Tactical Missiles.

The crux is Pakistan should contain Irani spy network/collaborators in Baluchistan as the current attack seems to be wrong intel gathered by Iran on it's own. On other hand Pak should deploy heavy weaponry i.e. long range rockets/Missiles along with sufficient SAM/AD network to counter and react in future. Such attacks shall be automatically minimized in near future.

Iran should show good gesture and apologies for killing children. It is Iran which may not like to open a new front in own back yard. If Pakistan takes hostile stand then current Irani regime and whole region may face dire consequences.

Exactly . Not only Iran but Turkey too .Pakistanis have a weird fantasy to be them and hope for them to like us . While the Persians and the Turkish have always looked down on us. It’s the same behavior abroad too when these groups interact .

The establishment always wanted to align with the GCC, but our shia population in influential post always pressurised and twisted things.

You ain't in any damn position to talk about terrorism. BLA and other Baloch Militants attacking Pakistan reside in Iran. Many Iran funded proxies spread out in Middle East.

Iranian habit of acting like Gangsters is the reason 2 of your neighbors Pakistan and Iraq are issuing statements against you. Not ignoring the fact y'all are globally isolated already.
It seems rather funny that IF [BIG "if'] the bla was operating from iranian territory then why did pakistan only start to fence off its side of the border starting in 2019,while iran by comparison built its fence,to try and combat increased terrorist infiltration from pakistan, waaay back in the mid 1990s.
Why not continue with the development of the idea of an iranian-pakistani rapid reaction force?
If iran looks like a "gangster" ,then pakistan in turn looks like a pitifully weak state with a weak central government that is unable to even extend its legal authority over a part of its territory that it claims sovereignty over, and even worse seems to have absolutely no interest in actually trying to do so.
Maybe you might want to save some of that self righteous indignation of yours for the pakistani government [both current and previous] who simply allowed this situation to continue for decades rather than being bothered to actually try doing something about it.

TFT ticker giving some info. Please avoid sharing until gov of Pak has issued statement.

For me, as an Iranian, that can’t be further from the truth. Yes there shitty Iranians that behave poorly (more than I like frankly) as there are shitty Pakistanis, Indians, Canadians, …so generalizing like you just did puts you in which group? I’m sure there’s fondness by Iranians of Pakistanis. I personally have decades old friendships with you folks.

Unless there are idiots in Pakistan or Iran who make in worse from this point - it seems saner heads on both sides are prevalent
I expected this to be the case and I am glad.

Almost certainly fake news from a random nobody on Twitter, should not be spread here. If there is any strike inside Iran it will be reported immediately and we won't need to wait a few hours for Iran to figure out what happened.

Not long ago, Pakistan was facilitating dialogue between Iran, China, KSA, Turkey and vice versa. So what is the response from our supposedly closest allies?

Some of the members in this forum are shocked. But I am not shocked.

Pakistan needs to decide if it wants to play second fiddle to its neighbors (or) it shall have options of its own. There should be focus on how Pakistan can have options of its own.

There is a lack of focus on what-if scenarios and contingency plan(s) on our end.
