It's possible that the corrupt generals are pushed by US and UK (as part of commonwealth) and Saudis to act in exchange for few billion dollar loans, which they could share and put 10-30% in their pockets.
Also Pakistan not acting on behalf of Palestinians, but showing some military power would benefit the corrupt generals (while considering internal opposition such as Imran Khan and his supporters as their real enemy).

Any attack inside Iran is a major embarrassment for the IRGC and Hajizadeh in particular, who always emphasised our red line was our sovereign territory. Hajizadeh said yesterday we are ready for whatever happens next (Pakistani retaliation). If this news is true, hopefully that was not another IRGC bluff/lie.

At this moment I am more inclined to believe this may be another attack by terrorist Jaish Al-Adl rather than Pakistan itself. But I may be wrong. I await confirmation from official sources.

Well Israel has attacked Iran on its soil with drones (allegedly) yet there was no direct response. In this case I just cant see Iran retaliating over BLA fighters. But still early days.

Not true. That was local cells launching tiny quadcopters from within Iran, not a strike from Israel itself.

Iran will not admit "BLA fighters" had such a strong presence within Iran or accept (reportedly) 7 strikes against Iranian territory. After past IRGC statements, it cannot.

But we should let the dust settle and the facts emerge before we speculate too much.

I wouldn't be gloating as it was IRGC that launched those missiles yesterday and everyone expected an attack on Tehran and Iranian military! But it seems Pakistan targeted the same people Iran targeted.
