These are remote improvised areas in both countries. Neither side has major military presence.

50K illegal immigrants enter the USA border each month with the might and resources of USA military. What can one expect of mountainous border between two countries like Pakistan and Iran?

Unless both countries want to deploy tens of thousands of soldiers to do sweep operations at the cost of tens of millions of dollars (if not hundreds) then this insurgency will continue. I'm not aware of any internal Iranian complicity with the Fakhrizade assassination. Only external ones trained by Mossad or kurds. I think the Balochis doing it themselves is the most plausable, then I'd go with Pakistani help as second and lastly with your version of events.

Pakistan has 3X the amount of Ballistic Missiles that Iran has, and all very accurate. What does the Iran think it is?? It attacked Pakistan , its an act of WAR! If Iran further escalates then Pakistan shouldn't think long about striking hard and this time IRGC directly.
