Except I don't believe Iran and its non-citizen bull crap to appease its own populace.

Yes fully agreed. If we can move on from this episode, we need to work on building lines of communication. There is another aspect - Unlike India and Pakistan who have guns aimed at each other’s throats but also have de-escalation mechanisms from the local level all the way to the highest point - Iran and Pakistan have no such robust structures even though they have extremely porous borders at times marked by just stones on the ground.
I think with the elements that operate on both sides this is a serious oversight by both countries. @RescueRanger @Persian Gulf
If anything this incident may highlight why there has to be even more “red telephones” between Iran and Pakistan border and military forces instead of relying on each others “brotherly” history.
After all - the first murder was of brothers
Come onPakistan has 3X the amount of Ballistic Missiles that Iran has, and all very accurate. What does the Iran think it is?? It attacked Pakistan , its an act of WAR! If Iran further escalates then Pakistan shouldn't think long about striking hard and this time IRGC directly.

I dont agree with the initial assertion fully but do agree with latter in spirit. There is already plenty of lines of communication. This is erroneous logic assuming there isn’t.
The area in question are remote villages where Pakistan doesn’t have stationed security forces, outside of some desolate and improvised border posts sprinkled along the border most of this area lawless.
There was nothing to communicate. Both sides have done cross border strikes (usually with artillery) in past years.
Pakistan just made a mountain out of an ant hill regarding long standing border insecurities on both sides. Neither sides wants to deploy enough military forces to clear the region and wants the other side to clear theirs first.
In reality neither Pakistan cares about these remote villages nor does Iran. It’s all political theater. These are poor regions with little resources thus central governments don’t really care too much about the people there.
China is trying to invest in the region to hopefully raise standard of living and stop having youth get brainwashed towards these terrorist ground. Both Pakistan and Iran need to raise standard of living in this region to have people expel the terrorists. Pakistan has economic problems and Iran has its own share. So not enough money to go around.
Did Pakistan informed Iran he is India special agent?I can write a lot but I don't want to derail thread here.
Wasn't it Iran sitting in the lap of India and providing shelter to anti Pakistan elements?
Kalbushan Yadev is just one reference.
Usually people travel in day light. Heavily infested area from Baluch nationalist. Iran force move in secured convoy in that region. Its been like this since 1971.Most of that region do not have Iranian citizenship
Just ignore these kind of comments. They are embarrassing to say the least.Come on
Now ball is in Iran's court. By the looks of it, they are going to brush it under the carpet (No Iranians killed etc) and move on.
