Is China encroaching upon Indian territory in Arunachal Pradesh?

Someone is rattled after India decided to open up the Himalayan trade route.

The report was by members of a party affiliated to BJP, if you bother to read the article, so unsure what agenda they may have.

More importantly it exposes as utter BS the lies about infrastructure being better on Indian side, seems Indians had to withdraw due to bad weather and bad infra and Chinese stepped in
They are locals who have an extreme prejudice against China, so they can't be trusted on this issue and could start all this in an attempt to sabotage Xi Jinping visit to India next month

Anyways Indian parliamentary affairs minister who is also from Arunachal has rejected these claims

This is the reality, with that part of Longju has been in Chinese control since 1959.
China has claims on Arunachal as South Tibet, articulated in 1960 border talks, wherein they claimed approx 69,000 sq km of the state territory. In 1959 China attacked the Assam Rifles outpost at Longju and captured it. The area has since 1959 been in adverse possession (of Chiina) and is frequently in news due to infra development done in this area by China.
