How many of them are classified as China's immediate neighbors with real land border problems ? There are only India and Bhutan, and Bhutan is controlled by India that won't let Bhutan settle the border problem with China, lol. Taiwan is Chinese territory so there is no dispute. The rest of them have conflicting claims of reefs and islands in SCS between them, SCS issue is unsettled. Except Japan steals few islands from China in East China Sea.

First, I said I don’t want to agree with that argument. If I understand what you are saying, Sri Lanka would not technically be considered our neighbouring country because there is no land border connecting it with India. But reallity is that srilanka is our neighborhood country, it doesn't matter connected via land or not.

China, on the other hand, has far more unnecessary territorial disputes, mainly because of its unrealistic territorial claims and its policies of expanding its borders and strategic resources into neighbouring countries.

China has never extended its borders. If u look at Republic of China aka Taiwan claims you would shit your pants.

Those were claims made by previous Chinese government and not physically enforced. Our strategic partner vietnam claims an area 10x the size of its country but china and Vietnam never enforce and control each other in any form of claims.
