Is China encroaching upon Indian territory in Arunachal Pradesh?

After China’s attack on India in 1962, followed by the Pakistan attacked in 1965, the idea of peace was vanished in South Asia. India did not initiate these conflicts, but the region has remained caught in a cycle of disputes, mistrust, and military tensions.

Anyway, political claims, domestic politics, and vote-bank considerations continue to be major reasons why these issues remain unresolved today.

The simple and practical solution is to accept the existing boundaries as international borders by all three parties and abandon unrealistic territorial claims. No country in the region has the power or the willingness to achieve its maximal territorial ambitions without risking enormous destruction, especially if a full-scale war were to break out and any initiative war for getting claim parts will auto get converted to full war, just for reminder - capitals of all three nations, within the nuke rangeS

However, after decades of selling unrealistic hopes to their own populations, combined with concerns about international image, strategic interests, and domestic politics, the china, Pakistan and India involved are likely to continue keeping the region unstable—even though they understand that realistically, none of them is going to gain the territory.
After the birth of the hindutva movement, midwifed in and by the British Empire for their own long-term designs, all hopes for lasting peace and prosperity for billions in South Asia were summarily quashed. Wet dreams of territorial expansion persisted within the Indian psyche (to somehow "undo" centuries of medieval embarrassments for hindus at the hands of multiple regional rivals), whether represented openly by BJP or by way of subtle manipulation under the Congress Party.

The rest of us are trying to convince Indians that the modern world is not amenable to such backwards thought, but it's not easy against seemingly endless hordes of unwashed and uneducated Indics.

1962 was 60+ years back when we didn't even use proper air force.
LOL, you believe India now has a stronger air force than China? of course, so moronic rankings did say so, but how come you provoked Pakistan air force twice in recent years and twice you were humiliatingly defeated by them?

I also just post one, there are many foreign travelers vlogs about Tibet on youtube, go and check them for yourself if you are really interested about learning what today's Tibet is really like.

Sir ji, the video was first actually posted by you, I don't give any weighted to such videos.
For travel vloggers, it’s normal — even I can post from the Indian side. But that’s not the point of discussion at all.
The only point is that all three governments have sold their own perspectives to their people over the years, and people naturally follow the narratives promoted by their respective governments.
So blaming one side or another is ultimately just blame-shifting. The real issue is the narratives that have been built and followed for decades.
Given the situation we have today, there is only one practical solution: accept the current borders as the actual international borders.

But realistically, no government is willing to do that because they have sold too many narratives and claims to their own people over the years. It would be extremely difficult for any government to suddenly accept the present reality.

So the easiest option for governments is to maintain the status quo and keep beating the dead horse by repeating the same narratives: “We will get those lands back one day.”

In the end, it keeps old dreams alive while allowing governments to avoid confronting the reality of the current situation.

Take the horse to water - but you cant force it to drink.....(or wash)

Situation what we have today - only one solution - accept current borders as actual international borders but no government can agree as they sold too many things in the past to their own people.. no one can digest
China proposed that solution 70 years ago and Nehru refused it. That ship has sailed.

India was 3 dozen countries before the British came. You never had any claim of tibet ever.

There has been no such thing as India until the 1940's. What this map shows is the true history of South Asia as multiple independent sovereign countries.

No. What I am saying is people who despise Chinese, who treat the name Chinese as a slur is not going to join China. The only way you can gain those territories is by invasion and subjugation which in itself is a wetdream.

Started in 1980's. Gained momentum in 1991. Don't try to rewrite history giving credits to Hindutva for things they didn't even do.

Are we still living in 1960s? I don't agruing anything about past, my concern is only about present... Even I don't want to look, who did, what did because everyone was having own reasons and perspectives, from your side, indian mistakes, indian side - proposal was not acceptable etc.

One generation has passed, that's only means what i said is correct.

Initial, there was a chance for solution since since no narratives were build but now narratives are already build over the decades - nothing can be happened now.

If they all want to be Indians, how come there are so many insurgency and rebel groups in that region? Tibet per capita income is over 11,000$ and Indians just one fifth of that, common sense tell people want to be with rich folks unless they are crazy or helplessly brainwashed.

Don't care lmao. You can find worcelling from a lot of people wanting Hindutva from 1800's. But the point is Indian political history had a bunch of people who are responsible for the Hindutva gaining foothold in India. A 1928 book is nothing in front of the events happened in the 80's and 90's.

Lol.

80s and 90s? Please do feel free to debate the rights and wrongs of the post-colonial era in South Asia but don't idly attempt to pull the wool over our eyes regarding hindutva's influence.

Who assassinated Mahatma Gandhi?

Who met with the ruler of J&K in Oct 1947 to convince him to sign the IoA in favour of India?

There were even assassinations before the year 1910 attributed to fanatical followers of Savarkar.

I think you are mistaking the pdf forum goers for some naive white skinned crowd who are easily guilt-tripped into blind acquiescence regarding Indian perpetual victimhood.
