Is China encroaching upon Indian territory in Arunachal Pradesh?

Sir ji, the video was first actually posted by you, I don't give any weighted to such videos.
For travel vloggers, it’s normal — even I can post from the Indian side. But that’s not the point of discussion at all.
The only point is that all three governments have sold their own perspectives to their people over the years, and people naturally follow the narratives promoted by their respective governments.
So blaming one side or another is ultimately just blame-shifting. The real issue is the narratives that have been built and followed for decades.
Given the situation we have today, there is only one practical solution: accept the current borders as the actual international borders.

But realistically, no government is willing to do that because they have sold too many narratives and claims to their own people over the years. It would be extremely difficult for any government to suddenly accept the present reality.

So the easiest option for governments is to maintain the status quo and keep beating the dead horse by repeating the same narratives: “We will get those lands back one day.”

In the end, it keeps old dreams alive while allowing governments to avoid confronting the reality of the current situation.
You can definitely say that of your gov as we all know. But to say that's all the same for China is bit overstretched.

Who met with the ruler of J&K in Oct 1947 to convince him to sign the IoA in favour of India?
Quite a lot of people met him to convince him to join India. Gandhi met him right before the Communal violence began. V P Menon met him RSS leaders met him. You're zooming in to one such meeting your usual template.
There were even assassinations before the year 1910 attributed to fanatical followers of Savarkar.
Of the British abbu? I hear he was send to jail for getting involved in an assassination conspiracy of some British magistrate along with being revolutionary.
I think you are mistaking the pdf forum goers for some naive white skinned crowd who are easily guilt-tripped into blind acquiescence regarding Indian perpetual victimhood.
I'm in the right place lol! Making shit up, being too invested in our politics and yet get the basics wrong.

Again, not asking who was assassinated or who wasn't. Nor am I stating others did not meet with Hari Singh - naturally, Congress' hands are as dirty as anyone else's in your godforsaken qom.

I responded to this bizarre assertion of yours that Hindutva influence is some novel feat of engineering applicable only from the 80s and 90s onwards.

So you're just commenting for the sake of it??? What was all that Hindutva blah blah blah as if Hindutva is responsible for Kashmir problem or most of Indian subcontinent problems? They are a very recent phenomenon, less than two decades old of being in absolute power.

It is infact a political force of the 80's and 90's. Successful partly in the 90's and really successful as in Congress level successful only since 2014. Basically Hindutva is where congress was in 50's and 60's. It is yet to reach the peak 70's congress that split Pakistan. You have zero idea on Indian political discourse, especially you have no idea how politically irrelevant Hindutva were until they weren't.

It's nuts how scared the Indian government and military seem to be of criticising China.

When it comes to Pakistan, they're always quick to beat their chests like chimpanzees—making all sorts of threats, launching false operations, indulging in jingoism and whatnot.

But China continues with its alleged salami-slicing policy, and there is virtually no reaction from India's Hindu extremist government.

"Wrong To Claim China Entered 60 km Inside": Kiren Rijiju On Arunachal

Kiren Rijiju stressed that India and China share a very long border in Arunachal that is not fully and clearly demarcated on the ground.

New Delhi:
Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has called the latest claims of Chinese incursion in Arunachal Pradesh "incorrect". "It is wrong to claim that China has entered 60 km inside India," the Parliamentary Affairs Minister told news agency IANS in an interview.

The minister's remarks come amid reports of an alleged Chinese incursion in the Upper Subansiri district in Arunachal, with locals claiming that the Chinese troops had crossed the Line of Actual Control (LAC) and entered areas in the Taksing circle.

Rijiju stressed that India and China share a very long border in Arunachal that is not fully and clearly demarcated on the ground. This is not a new issue, he underlined, pointing out that the "border between India and Tibet was never delineated."

"Chinese activity has increased in some areas, and the concerns of villagers must be taken seriously. However, sharing false videos and claims, including from Bangladesh, is wrong. It can lower the morale of the armed forces and create confusion in the country," he warned.

The core issue, according to Rijiju, is that China had begun road construction in the border areas earlier.

"At that time, the Congress was in power. Then defence minister AK Antony had said in Parliament that India's policy was not to build infrastructure along the border. China, meanwhile, continued building roads and infrastructure," he further said.

That changed after 2014, Rijiju added, with the government accelerating border infrastructure development. He pointed out that the current government had built roads in remote border areas where no such development had taken place since 1947.

The Chinese took advantage of this delay, according to him.

"When we failed to build a road, but China succeeded, the Chinese army occupied high-altitude areas and built border infrastructure. We are now responding by developing our own infrastructure...It is not as if they have captured one of our villages. They have set up camp on certain tracts of land because the boundary there is not demarcated," the minister added.

The villagers on the Indian side claim that their territory extends further, while those on the Chinese side claim their land extends deep inside here, Rijiju said, adding that the government takes the concerns of the villagers seriously.

He added that the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) patrolling has been strengthened in the area.

India had earlier warned that the state of border affairs with China will reflect on the "state of larger bilateral ties" between the two countries.

Earlier this month, India had identified 27 places in Arunachal by their standard names on the official map to counter Chinese attempts to rename those. China had objected to the move, but India reiterated that Arunachal Pradesh is its inalienable part.

I was responding to another user from your bhakt clan when you chose to enter the conversation. Feel free to read back the original comments earlier if the thread.

Insights on India's current expansionist political posture will always fall short without an adequate analysis of the origins of saffronist political theory.

Why is akhand bharat such an important concept to hindustanis and even hindus, as per the teachings of your own hindutva leaders?

Hindutva either existed in the early 20th century or it didn't. Territorial ambition was always a central theme of even the earliest theorists. If you choose to claim that hindutva was non-existent until "80s/90s", your erroneous conjecture will continue to be rebuffed.

You don't argue with your stepfather who's like 500 pounds gorilla 🦍

I have read your pretentious mumble in the other thread about Hindutva the whole Kashmir saga and the so called meeting of Golwalkar with Hari Singh that somehow sprung into uprising or genocide... Yeah... No.

It's like one of those Gazwa e hind stuff. In reality nobody really wants to add 500 million poor people, and a desert and swamp if you mean the land. We live in the largest and most fertile region in the world. We already got everything we need and more.

Oh absolutely, I keep saying you shouldn't be getting with the internal politics in India because it doesn't matter if it's Hindutva or non Hindutva the policy regarding Pakistan is the same.

It was funny watching your previous PM Imran getting into this whole RSS - BJP, AAP, elections et al even now you know who is who in Indian politics while most of us have the faintest idea of your political scene.

Aww. Such a shame you missed out the whole "Jammu pogrom" bit which I also mentioned on the other thread. Did that bit not suit your narrative that "masterchief saar is just inventing nonsense on the basis of two splendid gents sipping tea in Srinagar!"? Selective amnesia is very treatable so fear not.

Sadly, this noble countenance of yours that akhand bharat is mere philosophical conjecture runs contrary to your government's official position regarding multiple Pakistani administered territories. Not to mention, your government's official position regarding several Chinese, Burmese, and Nepali territories.

More mumbling rhetoric without substance.

Which Chinese territories? Ain't no one speaking "Chinese" in India to be called Chinese territory. Indian borders with Nepal remained the same since 1947. Never had an issue until some political rhetoric took course. Burmese territory??? Lol!
