Is China encroaching upon Indian territory in Arunachal Pradesh?

After China’s attack on India in 1962, followed by the Pakistan attacked in 1965, the idea of peace was vanished in South Asia. India did not initiate these conflicts, but the region has remained caught in a cycle of disputes, mistrust, and military tensions.

Anyway, political claims, domestic politics, and vote-bank considerations continue to be major reasons why these issues remain unresolved today.

The simple and practical solution is to accept the existing boundaries as international borders by all three parties and abandon unrealistic territorial claims. No country in the region has the power or the willingness to achieve its maximal territorial ambitions without risking enormous destruction, especially if a full-scale war were to break out and any initiative war for getting claim parts will auto get converted to full war, just for reminder - capitals of all three nations, within the nuke rangeS

However, after decades of selling unrealistic hopes to their own populations, combined with concerns about international image, strategic interests, and domestic politics, the china, Pakistan and India involved are likely to continue keeping the region unstable—even though they understand that realistically, none of them is going to gain the territory.
The idea of peace in South Asia died upon independence 1947. When Hindu and Sikh fanatics decided to try to cleanse places like Punjab and Kashmir of Muslims, while the Indian government captured withheld funds to Pakistan, thinking they'd be able to strangle the country upon inception, choke it by capturing additional territory, and coerce it into joining India.

If india fires a shot at china.
1. Siluguri corridor is taken along with north east india and Bhutan.
2. Chinese artillery and rocket artillery (dont even need ballistic or cruise missiles) will completely devastate northern india and water/elevtricity/internet infrastructure will be knocked out. Chinese jet fighters and sophisticated drones will have complete air dominance.
3. Millions of fpv drones along with millions of robot dogs anf unmanned combat vehicleswith machine guns/rocket launchers etc will pour over the border followed by IFV, tanks, howitzers and APCs.
4. Create puppet states in bihar, uttar pradesh, punjab etc and focus on building up naxals into a powerful modernised force.
5. With northern india taken out, pakistan will waltz in and take what they want.

This would have happened in 1962 had soviets and americans didnt gang up on china. Now everything is vastly different so go ahead and shoot, we are waiting.

I can't really help you and your relentless cope.

Obviously the border issue with Myanmar has little press coverage and is not openly hostile in nature but a territorial dispute exists that is not yet resolved. It would be inaccurate to state otherwise.
Do you have a reading comprehension problem or something? It's enclave exclave situation where a small piece of land maybe surrounded by India, or Myanmar basically having a Myanmar inside India or India inside Myanmar and most of it is some forested land. These are survey issues that are easily settled and not a border dispute. Is that the big find of "border dispute".

And yes, you have territorial disputes with both Nepal and China. Have you been living under a rock?

As for "mumbling rhetoric", are you implying the Jammu pogroms did not occur? And that Hari Singh was not responsible? We can discuss further in an appropriate thread once you have decided you've polluted this one sufficiently.
Not really, anyone can raise a border dispute like Nepal did but have since backtracked. As I said Indian border with Nepal is the same since 1947. We ratified a treaty with them in 50's making it legal. The rest are noises by Nepali politicians which changes with government. Chinese have border disputes with every one of its neighbours so paint me surprised they are an irrendentist power.

As for your mumbling, the topic can be skipped entirely to an appropriate thread including this mumbling as well.

Lol.

You're such a Copeistani. If you disagree with my assertions, simply ignore them! Meanwhile I shall post away..

"Between the 1960s and 1970s, the border dispute became more visible, especially around Border Pillars (BPs). 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 21, and 23 in Manipur. For Manipur, shifting the border meant the potential loss of substantial areas of land. Moreover, after the Sino-Indian War, 1962, China pressured the Burmese government on the boundary agreement and to shift the border westward. In India, the parliamentary representatives from the Northeast, including Hem Barua and George Gilbert Swell, questioned the “technical accuracy” of the 1967 boundary map and the alignment of the boundary pillars that could result in territory loss.

What initially appeared to be a “technical accuracy” issue over maps and boundary pillars gradually became a question of territorial loss. By 1970, the Ministry of External Affairs was aware that the boundary needed to be resolved diplomatically, as India faced potential territorial losses in the sectors of BPs 6-10, 21, and 23. Then, India proposed adjusting BP 33 west of Tuipang and shifting BP 34 about 200 yards south, giving Burma approximately 0.7 sq. miles in exchange for avoiding changes to BPs 6-10, 21, and 23. Burma rejected the proposal, seeking a further westward realignment that would also transfer Bongmal Thampak to Burma, which India feared would provoke public opposition. A 1974 Survey of India assessment further estimated that relying solely on the 1967 map positions would result in a net loss of approximately 1.4 sq. miles for India between BPs 1 and 39.

In a confidential letter to J.C. Ajmani, the then Director of the North-Eastern Circle, Colonel M. M. Datta, military surveyor, pointed out that India could lose around 1.58 sq. miles by accepting the existing positions of 31 boundary pillars. He noted that, along with the disputed areas around BPs 6-10, 21 and 23, India could lose territory of approximately 2.60 sq. miles due to errors in the 1967 map. He therefore suggested that India should not be put in a position of “losing territory twice”. However, the issue remained unresolved, and the planned boundary treaty was never concluded. In fact, India was willing to cede some territory. However, admitting mapping errors and accepting Burma’s demands risked public opposition."

..."Losing territory twice"....to effing Burma, the military junta.

Finds some opinion crap from a rag paper and starts jumping up and down. Lol! Indian Myanmar border is getting fenced up and we are going to settle border points of any issues. Someone wrote up a fictional story that India is going to exchange land with Myanmar and people ran with the story.

Lol, a lie being told by Indians repeatedly for a million times is still a lie, an Indian lie.

China has 14 neighbors and enjoys cordial and peaceful borders with 13 of them. India is the only country which has a hostile and murderous border with China.

China has a long land border and has 14 neighboring countries in total : Afghanistan, Bhutan, India, Kazakhstan, North Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Mongolia, Myanmar (Burma), Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Vietnam.

"going to settle", as in, there is an "issue" that is yet to be resolved.

Yes bro. Embrace it. Let it all out.
We had unresolved border issue with Bangladesh as well. Which was settled after "exchanging" territories. These are not worth spending much energy over. You bring it up as if we are in some war like situation like you have it with Afghans. Lol!

Meanwhile two coast guard Chinese "one child's" died trying to ram their boats at a Philippines vessel, they fumbled and collided with their own ships while the Pinoys dodged and made a fool of you.

Sounds very cordial and peaceful.

You also claim Vietnams EEZ as your territorial waters which is illegal. Grandpa fishing story along 9 dash lines is bull

Do you know land neighbors? if you count in the ocean, suddenly the whole world is your neighbor, China has 14 land neighbors and India is the only country which China has murderous border with, all the other 13 countries enjoy peaceful and prosperous border regions with China.
India is the opposite, having murderous borders with almost one.
