Is China encroaching upon Indian territory in Arunachal Pradesh?

China and Vietnam’s maritime boundary is determined by their respective maritime claims and the agreed maritime delimitation—not by the size of either country. The size of a country does not give it a greater right to maritime territory.

China has made extensive territorial and maritime claims that overlap with the claims of several neighbouring countries, creating significant and sometimes unnecessary disputes. Critics argue that some of these claims go beyond what can reasonably be justified under modern international maritime law.
In May 2025, India illegally invaded Pakistan, using water resources as a weapon to try to create a humanitarian disaster. Now Indians are even quoting international law to argue their case—what a ridiculous thing.

I’m not interested in all these arguments—I asked a simple question.

But I’m afraid no one wants to give a direct answer. Some people keep talking about claims, historical rights and other useless arguments, but very few are willing to face the reality.

Our leaders have promoted these positions for so long that they cannot easily go back, move forward, or accept a compromise to finally resolve the disputes.

The reality is that the leaders of all these countries can drag these disputes on for decades without any realistic chance of a final settlement. No country is going to voluntarily give up territory it considers its own without an extremely serious conflict.

The leaders know this. We know this. Yet everyone seems more comfortable blaming the other side than confronting the reality and finding a practical solution.

And only solution is - drop the useless claims, accept the current borders, live peacefully in your house.
Let me tell you why India has always tried to occupy Chinese territory. I hope this explanation gives you a deeper understanding of the Indian government.

This is a 3D map of the China-India border. The Indian plains lie at the foot of the Himalayas. This mountain range blocks India's radar coverage, while China's radar can clearly see military movements across all of India. Solving this disadvantage is very simple: India needs more early warning aircraft. But India only has six of them.

One of India's water sources comes from China. India doesn’t want water resources controlled by China, yet shamefully, it uses water as a weapon to attack Pakistan. The Indian government could improve India's water situation with water infrastructure to prevent floods and droughts. But it hasn't done any of these things.

The Indian government confronts China at the border to gain leverage for Western support. Indians can obtain visas and investments from Western countries in large quantities. In 2024, India’s remittances were $138 billion. In 2025, they were $135.5 billion. But everything changed after India invaded Pakistan in 2025. Pakistan proved that India is not capable of confronting China, and India lost the value the West saw in it. To rebuild trust, India stopped buying Russian oil and supported Israel, offending Middle Eastern countries, Iran, and Russia, but the U.S. didn’t win the war. India lacked fertilizer, foreign capital left, and the U.S., Iran, Russia, and Ukraine all attacked Indian merchant ships, causing Indian casualties. Pakistan could access energy, host peace talks, and its army entered the Middle East. All this happened because the Indian government lacks diplomatic ability and judgment on the international situation.

This is just part of the reason. Today’s India doesn’t want to be completely a Western proxy, yet still wants Western benefits. But the West isn’t stupid. Why did so many Western countries oppose Indian immigration this year? India lost its value in confronting China, so naturally, Western countries stopped giving India visas and benefits.

The reason for India's occupation of Chinese territory causing disputes is that the Indian government doesn't want to invest money to make changes, while greedily trying to profit from the West. If the Indian government were to negotiate peacefully with China, hundreds of billions in foreign exchange and a large number of Western visas would disappear.

India is incapable of handling internal conflicts and international relations, and its greedy government won't invest heavily in infrastructure. If India tries again to gain the trust of Western countries, the only card it has is to invade Chinese territory, which would then trigger even more intense conflicts.

If the Indian government does this, the territorial disputes with Pakistan and China would end with India collapsing; India has no future.

You don't really think India could defeat China's Western Theater Command and Pakistan, do you?

Internal conflicts in India and Western interests have led to the China-India border issue. For example, the territory claimed by India comes from a line drawn by a British person. Do you think this can be used as evidence? Do you think this complies with international law?

I can create such map with most of the Chinese parts belongs to India... But who cares such useless claims

That's what India can do the best, you claimed many Chinese things to be India's on your soial media, our bridges, roads, railways, humanoid robots....

You Indians are really ignorant and arrogant. This is the terrain and landform formed by the collision and compression of the Indian Plate with the Eurasian Plate during the Eocene period, 50 million years ago. You don't need to acknowledge it, the Himalayas are right there.

You actually said you want to make fake maps?

I shouldn't be surprised, spreading fake news is your specialty.

Just get down to business and take Arunachal, end of story.

For many years, Western countries and their agents have been waging wars and looting in Asia and Africa. The people of Africa and we have been treated very unfairly.

China chooses to resolve border issues through negotiation. China cooperates with most Asian countries, aiming to maintain peace and stability. The peace of Asia cannot be destroyed, and the development achievements of Asian countries cannot be looted again.

For example, when India attacked Pakistan, China provided help, ending the war in a short time, and Pakistan successfully stopped India; when India and the Philippines occupied Chinese territory, China confronted them using cold weapons; when conflicts broke out between Thailand and Cambodia, China mediated; China's stance on the Russia-Ukraine conflict and the US-Iran war has always been to stop the fighting and resolve issues through negotiation. These examples show China’s attitude towards maintaining peace and stability. China and friendly countries have always worked towards peace and stability, and if Western countries insist on waging war, they should not let the flames spread to Asia.

The world situation is already on the edge of losing control. The Russia-Ukraine conflict and the US-Iran war mostly take place in Asia, and these wars were instigated by Western countries. Fortunately, Pakistan and Iran have prevented the wars from expanding further in Asia. The Pakistani military entered the Middle East, offering security plans to Middle Eastern countries. China entered the Central Asian five countries, and together with Egypt conducted military exercises to contain further spillover of the wars. China, Russia, Pakistan, and Iran jointly oppose the US military presence in Afghanistan, which is an example of cooperation to control war expansion.

So, the issue of India occupying Chinese territory needs to be resolved gradually, rather than actively triggering war. With the maturity of China’s drone technology, we have already deployed patrol robots at the borders, and we are patient in waiting for the development of robotics technology. I look forward to seeing how the Indians will face the robot legion and hope they really have Bollywood-style superpowers.

How can it be resolved peacefully? Doesn't China think Arunachal belongs to China? Do you think Indians will concede Arunachal to China peacefully through dialogue? China's claim and approach are inconsistent.
