Islamabad Talks - News & Discussions

It is time for Pakistan to remove itself as a mediator and let Iran-USA deal with each other together. Irani's are going back to their old habits.

Absolutely not.

Diversity of opinons and views is common across many people, and if the Government of Iran has issues, they will say so. They have not, so lets not be melodramatic about comments from one person.

And isn't this person part of Government of Iran?

Dear Ebrahim, Pakistan is doing the job of a telephone, they are not attorneys for Iran or U.S. You don't blame your telephone if your negotiations fail. Do you?

You lost argument. World isn't fool. Hamas didn't tell Hezbollah about the attack hahaha. This must be joke of the century! We know what Iran is doing in other countries but now your own house is burning. This is what happens when you don't control your proxies.

Whose leadership died? What about the bombs that Gaza received because of Iran? Do you think world will support a nuclear armed Iran? Not even Pakistan will support such a rogue entity which is irgc.

Arabs aren't doing anything. They are only responding. Arabs have right to give their land to any country. Why Iran remained alone in the region and why Iran is not close to the Arab? Reason is simple. Iran or irgc has it's own objectives and that is to encircle Arab countries. We know everything about Persian empire dreams and please stop this useless argument that Iran is doing all this for Gaza. Iran has done everything to grow big and to fight Arabs.

There is no hate against Iranian people but yes, a nuclear armed Iran is unacceptable because it will put others in danger of an Iranian attack and I support trump. He is saving all of us from irgc.
Very one sided propaganda that has been debunked on this forum multiple times in the past. Look it up.

If Russia can help bridge the divide between Israel's desire for security and iran's
desire for nuclear energy, Putin deserves, not one, but two Nobel peace prizes.

Trump and Netanyahu may then be sued for political and diplomatic malpractice.

You drank too much ''Pakistan is king of diplomacy" kool-aid.

This Pakistani "Kool Aid" is still better than supporting the narrative of terrorist indian cow piss drinkers. They felt and still feel insecure by Pakistan's diplomatic rise. Belittling Pakistani and siding with iranians, saying what indians say about Pakistan. Are you seriously that insecure of your own nationality and country?

The iranians will accept the peace deal one way or another.

Pakistan should bow out of these negotiations and let more professional and discrete players like the Omanis or Turks handle it. Kuch batao hi nah kya hora hay jab tak positive news na aye, and if its negative say nothing and leak nothing.

The way we framed it like some sort of Shaadi event was very cringe. It almost felt as if our government was doing it not for peace itself but for the PR it was bringing them.
Please do not downplay or discredit our efforts. There has been silence in Iran for over three weeks due to our work alone; things could have been significantly worse had we failed. While some may still wish to see Iran 'bombed back to the stone age,' we successfully navigated intense political pressure to facilitate a ceasefire. Persuading both the U.S. and Iran to step back is, by any measure, a monumental feat.
