This is called softening the ground for what is to come. Greater Israel is the outcome they seek from their expansionist policies.

They have designs on territory in Syria, Palestine, KSA, Iraq and potentially Turkey. They will run campaigns to vilify all of these governments and countries, conduct subversive actions, create non-state entities to hype up crimes against humanity, false cases of nuclear proliferation etc. to make the case they they were right in conducting offensive operations and grabbing territory to thwart forthcoming threats to the state of Israel and defending the West!

The colonial settler mindset is programmed into the Israeli youth from very early age. They believe that they have a window with Trump and if they can shape what's to come next in the shape of leadership, they can carry out their designs without any disruption with American treasure and weapons. It clearly seems that Trump's is probably the most pro-Israeli administration to ever set foot in the White House. Another thing to watch is how they support the undermining of the US democracy to keep Trump or his designated replacement in the office so this Greater Israel project can be prosecuted.

Muslim world, like "chumps" - as the Americans say, just watches this play out. I have some hope from Pak-KSA-Turkey alliance to safeguard against such expansion, but it needs to be joined by others to build a credible deterrence.
