Israel Genocide in Gaza - 2023 to present - Part ll

Nothing Hezbollah and Hamas can do at the time being. The cost for their people would be too high. These are not significant commanders, there's still a sizable number of commanders and political leadership alive and out of public sights in Gaza.
the cost was always high, but now Israel has gone full blown Nazi mode so it is worse than ever

even for Iran, Smotrich just bragged the other day that if the war resumes they will destroy all Iranian energy infrastructure and their explicit goal will be to make Iranians starve

It is a situation the risks explosion as eventually something will tip over scales affecting many others that previously figured they're not impacted by war.

Israeli behavior is dangerous if it's not put to a stop by the West. Which we know it won't. So we're looking at a bad decade ahead of us.

Unfortunately, no one is currently able to stop Israel. Iran did OK in June 2025 considering it was caught by surprise (Weissman Institute destroyed, Haifa Refinery out of operation for months, multiple impactful strikes in Tel Aviv that damaged entire neighbourhoods, damage to Israeli MoD, damage to Unit 8200 HQ, eventually forcing ceasefire as Israeli interceptor stocks were depleting) but Iran can't fight Israel and the US at the same time, especially when half the god damn region opens their legs to allow the US and Israel to fly over their territory to attack Iran and also intercept Iranian drones and missiles.

Iran's last leverage over Israel is that Israel remains a tiny country reliant on a small number of power plants and water desalination plants, and if Israel goes for the jugular, Iran could target these facilities with conventional and cluster munitions with a reasonable chance of success. This is probably the only thing holding Israel back at all.
