Another confirmation that the only law that works in this world is the law of the strongest and most powerful. I am afraid that this was always the case one way or another.
I am more interested in knowing what Hamas, Fatah in the West Bank, neighboring Arab states, Arab world, ICC, Muslim world and the world as a whole are doing in order to document and raise this issue in relevant forums?
What is being done?
I find it impossible to believe that 50 + Muslim majority nations, 2 billion Muslims and billions of ordinary humans (most of which are not pro-Zionists) cannot do much in this regard?
I am not an international criminal lawyer and I understand that persecuting war criminals is a difficult and messy affair - one just need to look at Yugoslavia and Rwanda to realize this but we are in a complete digital age now. Many ordinary people have meticulously recorded who did what in terms of war crimes. There is plenty of evidence as well.
So what is going on? Is the US and Israel really this powerful that they can silence the entire collective world by large?
Where is the UN and other international forums?
Something does not add up here.
Arab leadership is not doing enough in this endeavor looking at it from the outside. Maybe they are doing what they can realistically do but I refuse to believe that we (as in collective Muslim leadership) are this weak?
How about we create our equivalent of Simon Wiesenthal and try to hunt down the worst Israeli war criminals if they cannot face any court of law?
Netanyahu, Ben Gvir, Smotrich and others are not going to remain in power forever or in Israeli politics. They will have to leave Israel at one point in time I imagine.
If I am not wrong, there is a universal jurisdiction when it comes to arresting war criminals and people that have committed genocide or aided genocide. I might be wrong but I even believe that civilians can arrest such people lawfully.
In any case the Israelis used to hunt Nazi war criminals long after WW2. So there is a precedent here.
I am just thinking outside of the box here as I have seen very few Arabs and Muslims talk about such issues in detail.
Wishing for Netanyahu to perish in some car accident or disease or dying from old age is just that.
Those individuals should be captured if necessary and brought to justice one way or another.
