I kindly request a statement or comment from you in your capacity as representative of the Peace Council regarding Netanyahu’s remarks, in which he said he had given orders to seize 70% of the Gaza Strip’s and further reduce the already very narrow area in which nearly two million people live.

️Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem:The occupation is violating the ceasefire agreement by announcing control over 70% of the Gaza Strip, through Katz’s announcement of a plan to displace the people of the Strip, and by escalating assassinations against the people of Gaza
We demand that the mediators take a clear and decisive position regarding these ongoing and escalating violations.
Nickolay Mladenov remains completely silent regarding all these violations. He is now required to take a clear position and not be a partner in this aggression.
We call on the Peace Council to compel the occupation to abide by the terms of the ceasefire agreement, following Netanyahu's statements about their intention to occupy 70% of the Gaza Strip.

They have a lot to lose in this situation but it's in their interest to prevent displacement of Palestinian people of Gaza. Any gutlessness during such a testing time, if God forbid it arose, would be a fatal strategic mistake.
In any case we don't have control over it and can only observe what happens.
