Then they tied her up, blindfolded her, and placed her beside them in a military vehicle.
One of the officers then received a call and shot her in the head.

Azeez Al-Shaair, an NFL star, paid a touching tribute to Wafaa Akila, an 8-year-old girl, and her father, who were martyred in an airstrike targeting their car on her first day of school. He wrote her name on his eye black strips as he met with children and families on the field. Al-Shaair has continuously honoured those suffering in Gaza in similar ways, repeatedly turning his eye black into a form of protest, despite the fines he receives from the NFL.

Breaking | Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan enrages the Israelis and forces them to walk out of the United Nations hall.

The key point in Erdogan’s remarks was his call for every country to recognize the State of Palestine. He said that in three years we have lost more than 74,000 people in Gaza to Israeli state terrorism, that Gaza has become a death camp and the world’s largest graveyard for children, that the West Bank is suffering settler violence and terrorism, that Gaza has become the most dehumanized detention camp of our time and a disgrace, and that Muslims and Christians in Jerusalem are being blocked from the holy sites. We are facing a genocidal mentality that cannot get enough of killing, and a situation of extreme danger.
